Lovely hotel in Strathcona area. Lots of shops and restaurants. Only issue was the tv not working. The staff promptly attended to the problem but it persisted.

Convenient location on Whyte avenue,rooms are really clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was fresh with good selection and nice seating area. Staff are friendly and helpful. The noise from the street was very loud at times from the room on the 6th floor facing it.

We have stayed at this property many times and enjoyed our experience. Well located, with a lovely breakfast to start the day. The rooms, though, are starting to show their age and it appears that no money has been put in to upgrade and refresh.

Overall an average hotel. It is pretty dated, even the linens are thin and worn. Check in was smooth, complimentary breakfast was standard. Valet parking was difficult as there is limited parking to drop you car at. We circled the block for wrll over 20 minutes to get a spot up the block from the hotel still. Getting our car was about 30 minutes after request which was not bad. The area is very noisy with many restaurants and traffic. There were cars revving up until 2 am the one night. If i was to stay again i would ask for a room not facing Whyte ave. Very close to many eateries which is great. Also close to the strathcona farmers market (saturdays). We are not likely to stay here again as we could stay at a newer hotel for the same or lower price and just park near Whyte ave and visit for cheaper and quieter.

Great hotel! Excellent breakfast included!! Free wine tasting every day which was lovely. Only downfall was the noise Friday and Saturday nights from bands playing in the bars until 1 am. Sounded like they were right in our room and nothing you could do about it. So loud!!!!
