Sabana de la Mar Water Park Hotels & Resorts

Property was clean and beautiful. Staff was very nice. Ebikes did not work for the entire week we were there. Lighting in the bathroom is not very good. Food at the buffet was good to excellent most of the time. It was a challenge to make a reservation in one of the al-la-carte restaurants so we didn't visit any of them. I had read that English is widely spoken. This was not true. Best to know spanish if you want to converse with the staff. Area surrounding the resort is poor and dirty but there is no need to leave the resort. We didn't do any excursions but others who did liked them.

Great modern boho chic establishment and services. Loved the variety in food selections and the peaceful ambience. I highly recommend and will definitely revisit again!

I love this hotel. I intended to stay for six days, but a single overnight convinced me to book another four days. That morning, I walked up to Zeida at the desk and said, "The sky is too pink, the sand too soft, the ocean too relaxing, the view too spectacular." What I didn't know then but do now is that the employees are exemplary- every single one. By the way, the nightly cost here provides a nice hotel in Boston without the sea of people catering to your every need. Meals here are cheaper than local restaurants. A long list of now friendly faces - I've forgotten too many names - including Braulio, Eddie, Wendy, Sonia, Vani, Saltares, and Kevin - all a tribute to the person in charge of hiring. I'll be back.
