The carpets are old but clean. The rooms are big and comfortable. I had a suite, the living room was spacious and the furniture although dated were clean and comfortable. The bedroom was very roomy. My room included a balcony which was small but an added bonus to the room. The location was great! Lots of restaurants that were walkable and there were outlets across the street. There is also a bike/walking trail across the street that follows the American river.

Larkspur Landing is a consistently good hotel with friendly staff that care about their property. They do little things well. Though the breakfast is continental, it is sufficient for us. Being close to my daughter’s house is an added benefit.
