This mansion is gorgeous, quiet, well maintained. Our room is extremely spacious. The only issue is the air conditioning. It is not very cool in the hot summer and the vents do not bring in enough air as they are old. There is a moveable a/c unit which is very helpful.

It could be a nice place but there is no hospitality. I’m sure it’s lovely for a wedding, but they just rent out the rooms otherwise, so it’s empty. The sitting area was set up for a wedding planner, and later was closed off. So you just go to your room and you are on your own.

Easy street parking. The sign is a little faded so finding the main entrance took me a moment. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty. Will definitely stay here again!

We stayed in the Carriage House behind the main property and had a lovely time. The hotel was clean, charming, and about 1 mile away from the great dining options in Midtown. There was a wedding and reception on both Friday and Saturday and the festivities ran until about midnight. It was raging, but we could certain hear the music from the reception. If you're looking for silence after 10pm, this isn't the best option during wedding season.

We were unhappy as to the cleanliness. The floors were sticky. There was red wine- or something stained on the side of the bed. The bedside table was all sticky. We had to wipe that down to use it. And the bathroom floor was very slippery. From some sort of cleaner that as used in the bathroom- floor and the shower. I stayed in your place many years ago, and loved it. I was very disappointed this trip.

Great location
Beautiful building, clean inside, nice enough. I do think for such a great old house they are missing the mark on decor. The entry and the upstairs landing area (hall) could use a little life. Maybe just a bench with pillows for a pop of color in the hall upstairs and a colorful floral arrangement in the entry. A few small tweaks to make the space more inviting.
