Great Gite in a nice location
This is a very well run Gite with lots to do in the grounds and buildings.
As it is a conversion of an old farmhouse it is a bit dark and some of the appliances are a bit dated - but it all works.
There are loads of walks around the park and the old trails.
As you are in the country there are the usual flies and bugs to contend with but those who love nature will feel right at home.
We took our dog and it did not get on too well with the owners young Boxer dog (he was just a bit nosy vs angry) - the owner subsequently ensured her dog was kept away from the gite and its grounds.
We spent most of our time in the kitchen and the big lounge but all the bedrooms were well appointed with comfy beds in the double rooms.
The top room is perfect for younger kids to muck about in but could probably do with blinds on the veluxes to avoid waking up at first light.
If you want a big property to share with friends and family then this is a great option. It is really solid and so you would not have to worry about kids zipping about and breaking prescious antiques.
