Perfectly positioned on a hilltop overlooking the medieval village of Saint-Julien-de-Civry, the spectacular Burgundy wine region is within easy reach from beautiful Beaune to historic Dijon.
Welcome to Maison Stirling a centuries-old stone cottage located in the heart of rural Burgundy, where Charolais cattle graze in nearby fields., the spectacular Burgundy wine region is within easy reach from beautiful Beaune to historic Dijon.
Your place:
Maison Stirling is perfectly positioned on a hilltop overlooking the medieval village of Saint-Julien-de-Civry. A quick 2-minute drive from Maison Stirling brings you down to the village bakery each morning for a croissant. A scenic 1.5 hour drive takes you to Beaune, the heart of Bourgogne wine country. Follow the wine road, Route des Grands Crus, and discover little villages and idyllic landscapes. Within a 2-3 hour drive, visit Annecy or Chamonix, access skiing or hiking in the French and Swiss Alps or enjoy Lyon, the gastronomical capital of France.
These splendid locales are close enough to savor, yet far enough away to ensure a tranquil escape at home.
