DETAILED UNIT DESCRIPTION AND INCLUSIONS
Aloberge 4 is the first of six units of the Saint-Paul-de-l'Île-aux-Noix Refuge, heading towards Richelieu. It is in the “ready-to-camp with electricity (30 amps) ” category and dogs are welcome .
The floating platform measures 12 x 26 feet and is permanently attached to the dock
The cabin is 10' x 12' and includes:
-Two single bench seats with slatted bed bases, one of which can stretch into a double bed (capacity to sleep 3, but accommodation is ideal for 2)
-The following kitchen equipment: compact fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, kettle, filter coffee maker and Keurig coffee maker with reusable k-cup, blender, basic dishes for 3 people, frying pan and/or cast iron wok for barbecue, necessary for washing dishes, dog bowl, side table (long foldable bench)
/> -A water dispenser with 3 gallons of well water. (Running water is available on the quay and at the harbor master's office)
-Small air conditioning and small heater(s)
-Towels for 3 people and bathroom amenities (hair dryer, first aid kit, small sample of EcoTrail shampoo/shower gel
-Bedding for 3 people (pillows, set of single and double sheets). BLANKETS NOT PROVIDED.
-Storage spaces (bench drawers, small shelves)
-Windows on 4 sides (anti-UV polymer films)
The large front terrace, 12' x 10', includes : -2 zero-gravity lounge chairs -A table with extension and 2 chairs -An electric mosquito repellent device
The rear balcony includes : -Outdoor barbecue with integrated cooking ring, barbecue utensils, barbecue plate or mat ( propane gas optional ) -Safe bench with two life jackets for adults and leisure items (ball, bowling games , badminton rackets, frisbee)
On the site, the following infrastructures are included/free:
-Place to bring a small boat , if it fits next to the accommodation (the available space measures 8 feet by 15 feet)
-Two unisex bathrooms with showers, available less than a minute's walk away, at the site harbor master's office
-Parking
-Wifi better at the harbor master's office, but may be satisfactory at accommodation
-Access to the Refuge grounds and its other infrastructure: outdoor fireplace, fishing dock, volleyball court, small path, sand arrangement, tables, briquette barbecues.
*** PROMOTION: FREE ACCESS TO ALL SIX SMALL BOATS from Aloberge (1 tandem pedal kayak, 1 double kayak, 1 single kayak, 1 paddle board, 1 pedal boat, and 1 canoe), DURING A STAY OF AT LEAST TWO consecutive NIGHTS taking place before June 14 and after September 14 : VALUE OF $90 (*see conditions of use at the bottom of the page)
AVAILABLE AS AN OPTION
-Rental of 20 lbs propane gas cylinders for the barbecue located on the accommodation's terrace ($8/day + taxes)
-Access daily to all six Aloberge paddle boats available on the site in low season: $45 per day of access (*See conditions of use at the bottom of the page). PLEASE NOTE that between Saint-Jean-Baptiste and Labor Day, the municipality plans to rent its own paddle boats on site during good weather.
-Sailboat tour of at least 2 hours on the Richelieu with introduction to sailing ($99/person, 2 people minimum)
TO BRING :
- Your blankets : As the accommodation is not insulated/soundproof, and the heating method is auxiliary (small heater), it is strongly recommended to bring very warm blankets in low season
-Briquettes if you prefer to use the barbecues on site
-Water shoes for swimming in the Richelieu (rocky pier)
-Drinking water (if more than 3 gallons are needed or you don't like drinking water well)
-Mosquito repellent lotion (necessary at certain times of the season)
- Flotation vest for children under 12 years old, obligatory on docks and in small boats
-Wood for the outdoor fireplace
-Suit for using the paddle board at the beginning and end of the season
-Your equipment for the many possible activities in the region (paddle sports, cycling, fishing, bird watching)

*Conditions of use of small paddle boats: To be used one at a time per accommodation, 2 hours maximum at a time per boat, depending on availability and according to the safety rules mentioned in the rental contract).
