Beautiful condo in Gated Community!
If you like golf and want to be near the lakes in SC, this is a beautiful condo in a gated community! Condo is comfortable, clean, quiet and right on the golf course! There is a nice restaurant on the property within walking distance. It is a bit remote so plan ahead to bring some provisions for the kitchen or to drive 30 min to most things. We were visiting colleges in the area so it worked perfectly for us. We were a bit surprised to see the pool that is right around the corner was closed but might have been because it's fall (and although warm) the leaves are starting to fall. All in all a great condo to stay in!

Keowee Key Getaway
This was a beautiful place for my husband and I to stay and enjoy a long weekend trip to the lake. Well appointed kitchen, bathrooms and very comfortable bed. You could tell that much thought and care went into the layout and design of this condo and we would absolutely stay here again.

Pros: condo is fully renovated and modern, safe and quiet location at Keowee Key community. Condo was clean except for spiders and cobweb. Cons: We had to kill many spiders in condo. Not sure if owner does any pest control indoor or not. Owner offered to send her cleaner but I have already cleaned and killed the spiders. Owner was slow to respond at the beginning, but her communication got better. There's only a small pool by the condo. The other amenities are far away from condo. You can easily hear people living upstairs walking around, taking shower etc.

Nicely remodeled but some issues
The unit was a decent size for the 4 of us. Overlooking the golf course, it was a relaxing spot. You have to drive to lake access and the larger pool but there is a small pool within walking distance. The issue we had was that the drains in both showered smelled like sewer. Smelled so bad that we did not want to use the bathrooms and could smell it all times even with the fans on and door closed. We had a short stay and made the most of it. I notified the property manager about the issue so hopefully it is resolved for future guests.

Beautiful views of the course
Very clean and an excellent place to stay! While staying my husband and I checked out The Club; great food, drinks and service. The views of the course were amazing! Very quiet community with a lot of very nice people. So much to offer with this rental and we took advantage of it all! Thank you again for the stay! We will be back!

Cozy and comfortable
Everything in the condo has been updated. It is welcoming, clean and has great amenities. The only negative is being downstairs and the noise from the condo above. Other than that, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Very clean and modern condo
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Keowee Key. The condo is very modern and has smart mirrors, appliances and even smart bathroom fans. The family really liked the decor and layout. It's a super short walk to the pool which allowed us to utilize it often. We rented a boat one day and had a memorable time exploring Lake Keowee.

Great Stay for Our Small Family
Property was beautifully finished and suited our small family of 3 well. Beds were very comfortable and my husband loved the reclining feature of the couch from either end. We never cooked but had everything needed to easily take lunch to pool. Coffee provided for the coffee pot was delicious. Great views from end unit of golf course. We had one minor issue that owner came over and remedied quickly. Wi-Fi was powerful enough to support both of us working and Wi-Fi calling (only had one bar in condo). We ate at the clubhouse one night which was good (extra fee for credit card) and tried several restaurants between Salem, Walhalla, Clemson and Seneca. Seneca was definitely our favorite for food and fun. We could never find easy access to lakeside beach which was disappointing but that was a community issue. The pool by the condo was up hill but short walk and easy to get chairs regardless of day/time. The one by the lake is a drive and much more crowded so if you decide to try, go earlier. My boys didn’t play the course but it definitely called to them as it looked challenging and well kept. Overall very enjoyable and relaxing break. Thanks for taking care of us!
