There were homeless people sleeping on the sidewalks in front of the hotel on the street. There were shady people in the parking lot late at night. The breakfast was horrible. Coffee was crap But staff was good.

I liked the location because you're next to Denny's (it is literally across the parking lot) and Fred Myers...and a FEW others. What i did not like about the area is the amount of people that sermed to be tweaked out and trying to talk to you as soon as your car stops asking for cash. We had to call and ask for an officer to help at one point. With that being said, all in all i liked the hotel. The beds are FIRM and they have 4 "small" pillows on each bed. My daughter was out within seconds lol. The staff are really kind and friendly. The ones we met tried to be as helpful as possible. If i need to stay in Salem again, I will book with them, only because the pluses out numbered the neg.

The shower had limited water pressure. Went to get into the hot tub, there was a cover on it. It said to ā€œ pull back the coverā€ we did, got in and it wasnā€™t hot at all and the jets didnā€™t work. The front desk staff was very polite. The place is dirty, room was ok. Was ok for the price. Next time spending the extra money for a good hot tub.

Easy access to restaurants and grocery stores, very quiet at night. The only down part was when a black ugly beattle landed on my head in the middle of the night had a hard time falling back sleep after that.

This is a clear example of poor management driven by greed. The owner neglected to maintain the property and failed to hire enough staff. Despite the place being fairly booked with many cars in the lot, only one staff member was there to handle both repairs and front desk duties. She had to lock the check-in office to go and change light bulbs, leaving at least three families waiting to be checked in upon her return. Despite being efficient, she was clearly overburdened. The room itself was dirty and in disrepairā€”the sink was clogged, there was a hole in the wall, the bedding felt unclean, the carpet was filthy, and the room had a cheap artificial scent likely masking unpleasant odors. Having stayed at Days Inn before, this location is well below standard.

Room was old air conditioning didnā€™t work and when the heater was turned on the smoke alarm went off noisy a lot of partying going on and a lot of loud people racing thru the parking lot all night absolutely horrible and would never come back didnā€™t feel safe lots of crack heads and weird people

The price was reasonable, but I was surprised that the property is more of a motel in a bad part of town (lots of suspicious looking people near the property just hanging about). Breakfast was a granola bar and juice or coffee. The room was clean.

Days in was a place to sleep. The dog smell was overwhelming. Air conditioner was extremely loud. The TV was not easy to use. The price was acceptable to have a place to sleep

This hotel has a dirty pool and they do not clean your stay over room. The rooms have dirty old carpets and furnishings. The ac unit is in the bathroom, and it is placed so high it aims at the ceiling. They offer granola bars, juice and coffe, so not a full free breakfast. There are many strange men wondering the property drinking or smoking. On our last night at 4:30am a woman began banging on the door of the room near us. She was yelling for a man to, "open up and wake up" over and over. I called the front desk and he addressed her, but he continued to let her knock and yell for him for another hour.
