Check in was quick and friendly. Room was very clean and mattress really comfortable! It was a very quiet place. Looks like everything has been remodeled and they did a great job! Very pleasant stay and I would highly recommend. Would stay again.

The room in the newer 2 story section was exceptionally large and nicely furnished. The only drawbacks were not being to check in late (I had to find a place to pull over in a long construction area of the interstate to arrange late arrival) & it sounded like someone was jogging around upstairs in the morning.

My room was remodeled in a very old part of the motel. It worked “ok” for a one night stay for me. There were negatives to the room. 1st one, no lock on the inside for personal safety, 2nd-bed was lumpy 3rd-No Hairdryer. I used the term motel instead of hotel because that’s what it truly is. Positives for my room, Clean, Excellent shower, Access to Interstate 70 easy for myself, and the owner was very personable.

Nicer than most places I've stayed that cost more
This is my 4th year in a row staying here as I drive from Georgia to Idaho. It's an inexpensive motel but honestly much cleaner and nicer than name brands motels I've stayed at that cost over $100. This is not a fancy motel. No pool, no room service but I prefer basic motels for a reasonable price. This place is perfect for me.

Did Not Disappoint
Chose this place on my roadtrip based on the reviews. Even once there & looking at the size & location, it still exceeded all my expectations. Although no breakfast or pets allowed, for me that’s not what I look for (although coffee & juice was provided). Room was in excellent shape. Clean & new flooring & fixtures, etc. Very comfortable bed. If I’m ever through there again, I would definitely choose this place again!… did I forget to brag about how inexpensive my bill was?… it was very reasonable!

Is this the nicest budget hotel in all of Kansas? I was a bit worried that my GPS was taking me to the wrong place as I was passing in between grain silos but though it is off the beaten path and not really convenient from I-70 this hotel is a gem. Completely remodeled, much older motor lodge with a newer 2-story addition. I was told it was 3 years old but you would never know it by the condition of the building or my room. Spotlessly clean, well laid out, well insulated. Even though it was 90+ at 10 pm I barely needed to run the AC. Bed and pillows first rate. No pool, spa, gym, laundry, or even breakfast and not much of a lobby but if you want a quiet, clean place for the money you can’t do any better. They do offer a morning coffee and juice bar and several fast food places are about a mile away. For the price, I don’t think you can touch this hotel’s quality anywhere in the state. Highly recommend.

We stayed in room 28 which was a newer part of the motel. It was so clean! Very spacious, lots of room for clothes, luggage, etc. walk in shower was large, nice and clean. It had a microwave and mini fridge with separate freezer. Felt safe there, and was quiet. They had a coffee machine, cappuccino machine, and orange & apple juice. No complaints about No continental breakfast considering the drinks offered and the price. Did I mention how CLEAN it was? Highly recommend this motel and would definitely stay here again if in the area.

This is a delightful motel that is not just remodeled, but remodeled with the best materials and care. The room we had with apparently new queen beds was eloquent..such a surprise for the low price. This is a historic motel along old Highway 40, but doesn’t look historic. It is completely modernized and we thought we were in an expensive motel room! Great place to stay!
