A large concert was going on adjacent to the hotel. It was super loud all night. I was not informed that a concert was happening and the noose was terrible. I reserved 4 rooms for 6 people and it was a huge waste of money. The hotel is old and somewhat run down. Carpeting is old and stained. It did seem to be fairly clean.

There are better options for the money.
Overpriced to say the least. Served undercooked/partially raw chicken at dinner. Allocated noisy room above kitchen fans and our polite request to change room wasn’t particularly well received. Rooms were spotless though. The hotel was sort of close enough to the airport but you still need their shuttle bus. Would seriously consider other options before rushing back.

CARD ONLY!
This is a ‘card only’ hotel. I am told this is a company policy. When did we lose the right to choose how we pay for goods and services? My dad has Alzheimer’s disease and can not manage to use a card machine, how would he be expected to manage? Management were uninterested. For me, the lack of USB/USBc charge ports was a big problem

Great staff and location
Hotel is convenient to the airport. And the transportation to the airport easily links you up with city team. This is by far the most appealing reason to stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

The room was ‘tired’. The lamp shade was cracked and ready to crumble. The bed was a bit soft but ok. The couch was faded and worn. The curtains were bunched on the floor because they were too long. The shears were shabby. There were no face cloths and there was a sign saying that face cloths were available at the front desk. NOT. The man at the desk said that no hotels in Scotland provided face cloths. Not true. I got one in the Holiday Inn Express Inn Inverness the week before! A lot of money for a rather shabby room. The bathroom was good tho I didn’t use the shower so cannot comment on that. The hot breakfast was excellent. Wish that the hotel would accept cash. But I have a credit card so there was no problem……just had to take my coins elsewhere to spend.
