The best hotel ever “The stone hotel”
Service was great, everyone was super nice. I never slept in more comfortable bed that I had a chance in the stone hotel. Many many thanks. I loved it 💚

Pleasant check-in staff. Clean twin room. Television didn’t work, a lo g wait for help but it was Saturday night. Would have liked shower- cap, tissues in the bathromm or available at desk. At the price, a basic continental breakfast should be included.

Enjoyable stay
It was second stay at the hotel and whilst it wasn’t quite as good as the first visit it was very enjoyable and relaxed stay. The main issue was televisions, the first room the tv didn’t work properly, the second the tv didn’t work at all, the third room was a twin room not a double fortunately the fourth room was perfect and due to the problems we had the duty manager offered us 50%off our evening meal which we gladly accepted and it was very good.

Great stay for Stonehenge
Stay was lovely, however there was a school prom one night followed by a wedding the next. Although it was lovely to see the promers arriving, it was directly outside our ground floor room which meant having to close curtains early to avoid being on show. Wedding also meant we couldn’t use the restaurant and limited parking, again, not a huge problem, would have just been nice to know about these events before our stay. Overall lovely stay and great staff. Thank you.

Lots of niggles with room. Couldn’t get cold water out of washbasins mixer tap, only hot and warm. At bedtime I had to go to reception and ask for a bottle of cold so I could have some to drink after giving up on the mixer tap. Also toilet roll holder wonky so roll kept falling of. Lampshade very lose and wobbly. Just seemed like no attention to detail

Exec room needed 2 comfy chairs and a table. TV did not swivel.Door closers noisy, clunk bang from 6 am in the morning. No air con so if the weather is hot an option of opening the window is a choice of traffic noise or heat. Did not eat in the restaurant as the menu looked very average, A whole side dedicated to Mac (what ever that is).

Weekend Business Stay
Hotel was easy to find. Once inside the staff were all very pleasant and friendly. Room was a bit minimal but had everything you needed. Lovely bathroom and great shower. Food was amazing - although I left too early for breakfast on both mornings, it smelt lovely! View from my window was lovely to wake up to - I was on the side overlooking the fields, not the road out the front! If I were in the area again, I would definitely stay here.

There were a few niggles in my room, but nothing drastic, hence the 4 stars in areas. But the team working, especially when we checked in, were friendly and helpful. The road was quite close to my room, but I couldn't really hear it, so didn't disturb me at all. And travelling for work, often in a truck, it's not always easy to find somewhere that can accommodate this, but The Stones have a massive car park, so this was a huge plus.

I stay here frequently as I make use of their small, but functional gym, the hotel is fine, staff do their best to help, usually a lack of staff at busy times isn't ideal, but I would stay again
