Crystal Inn Midvalley is our first choice when we come to Salt Lake City from out of town. The breakfast is fantastic, the facility is always clean, and the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly.

The front desk staff were so nice and welcoming, easy to make light conversation with. Continental breakfast varied from day to day but was always quality. The shower pressure was AMAZING; that with the hot water after a long day of activity is so soothing.

The hotel does not quite live up to the high expectations set by its reviews. While the rooms are adequate, the breakfast leaves much to be desired. Overall, it's not a bad stay, but given the glowing reviews, one would expect a significantly more comfortable experience.

We greatly appreciated the staff's intention to correct the issues we had during our stay. We didn't have a great experience. The room that we stayed in was not properly cleaned, there was bottle caps next to the bed and a dirty bandaid in the middle of the room. Our sink would not drain. We kept getting woken up in the night because the toilet would flush on its own throughout the night as the water was constantly running in the toilet.

Well priced

Good solid hotel. Shower was a bit dated. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. TV sound was poor. I love that they sell drinks for $1.40 in the lobby and other items are reasonable prices. Good breakfast though the tea seemed to be missing despite having hot water. Floor was bouncy and likely loud but I was on the top floor. Doors were sealed to normal hallway noise mitigation.

Always a great experience here. Great location- quite and close to everything. Friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms at great price. We stay here about 6 times a year.

Excellent stay for a good price

The ceilings are thin so sometimes footsteps are quite loud but everything else is excellent and we stay there every year when we drive through Salt Lake City.
