I advise against EVER staying at the Park Inn by Radisson in SLC Midvale!!!! My sister & I both booked 2 rooms for our family of 8 to stay 2 nights for a fun weekend getaway. We have a family member that lives in SLC, and he came back with us to the hotel to visit for a while longer. The front desk host called my sister's room & demanded she pay $10.00 for him to stay even though he was only there to visit for a bit. So she paid for him to get the guy off of our backs. 2nd night we got back late & headed to my sister's room. Same front desk host once again started YELLING at my sister saying they were going to charge me more because I supposedly hadn't paid for 4 people for my room. So I looked up my reservation and went to show this very ignorant host that I had indeed paid for 4 adults for 2 nights and had the confirmation number. As I walked to the front desk, I said I heard you want to charge me more and he started YELLING at me saying yes because you haven't paid for enough people. I said yes I most certainly have & showed him my reservation information. So he took a screen shot of the info & said he'd show (them) in the morning. They never did bother us after that. So if you like to be watched for your every move when entering the front doors, to being yelled at & threatened, than this is the place for you! Also heads up they charge a HEAFTY security deposit which was more than the 2 nights stay! Not to mention the rooms were filthy! Never staying here again!

The property is in great condition, very clean and the staff are great, but the walls of the rooms are very thin. I was able to hear the noises from the other rooms and that was very inconvenient.

Discriminatory towards disabled
They denied me access due to my service animal, insisting it was a pet and asked me illegal questions that violate ADA law and tried to bully me into signing a pet form even though I have no pets. I was in a lot of pain and didn’t have the energy to deal with the hostile and discriminatory staff. If you’re disabled steer clear. I paid for the booking and didn’t get to stay and neither hotels.com nor the actual hotel refunded me. It’s time to get the law involved

Management and front desk communicate poorly or NOT AT ALL. Laundry Room was "out of order", so we were forced to hang our clothes outside. (we have pictures as evidence) They harassed us and forced us to leave for this. Moreover, housekeeping is ONLY twice a week--very inconvenient. No communication, customer service, hospitality whatsoever. Beware of Management and front desk here as they are running a Museum (where you can look, but don't touch) and scam operation where you can be asked to leave for ANY REASON or NONE AT ALL (rules must be stipulated in written form) and they charge you for an extra night that you did not stay--SCAM!

Great Hotel
Excellent Hotel. The beds, sheets and pillows were soft and comfortable. The TV was a decent size, and their DirectTV was very responsive with a nice selection of channels to watch. Room was very nice looking and clean. The A.C. worked perfectly and kept a cool 68 degrees the entire stay. Will definitely stay here again.

Check in took some time because the single clerk kept answering telephone calls even though I was standing in front of him. Unfortunately the clerk did not tell me the breakfast times and in particular that breakfast ended at 9am. On other experiences, breakfast would end at 10am. So my wife and I missed the breakfast. The ceiling was very thin and the noise from above was if there was a herd of Bison on top of the ceiling (child or children continually running) until about 10pm. The herd were on the move again early the next morning.

The bathtubs need to be replaced. I see thw renovations and appreciate them, but the tubs are yucky (dings, chips, marks, hairs, crumbs). The staff is very unfriendly. Just a smile from management/front desk would go a very long way. I was glared at multiple times. The bedding was very soft and very clean. Thank you.

Had no complaints whatsoever. Was even reasonably set back from the road so that, even though our window face the road, the noise level was acceptable.
