The Hummingbird Backpackers B&B (Bed 1)

Come join us in our high-end, backpackers style accommodation on beautiful Salt Spring Island. You'll stay in a comfortable single bunk bed in a co-ed dorm room, and have access to all the beauty the island offers. We are a 5 min drive to Ganges, on the bus route and walking distance to 2 lakes and a nature reserve. We have a modern living space with plenty of room to cook and mingle. There is also a large outdoor area for enjoying the garden and fresh air as well as a yoga platform in the woods. For more than one guest, please book the individual listings we have on VRBO. We have 4 of them and each listing is for an individual bed in the dorm room. If you'd like to book the whole room with 4 beds there is also a listing you can book for that. Just look at the title of the listing and you will see if it's for an individual bed or the whole room. Cheers and we look forward to your stay!

Never made it. Got sick 24 hours after booking. Cancelled almost 24 hours before booking started. Won’t refund me & service fees are more the bed fees. Will never stay here or recommend.

Glad we found this place
We enjoyed our night in this unusual B&B. Backpacking season hasn't really started yet, so we had the place to ourselves. There are 2 rooms with 4 bunks each, and 1 room with 6 bunks. You need to book each bed seperately. There is a shared bathroom. It would be excellent for a bunch of frends to gather, or for individuals looking to meet fellow backpackers. The host was very helpful, responding to our questions right away.
