Nice balcony and unique setting. Location is about a 20 min walk to the old town and 5 min walk to the main train station. Rooms were adequate but could improve on overall cleanliness - like sweeping the floor on a daily basis and finding out and addressing what makes the washroom smell stale. The motion sensor for the washroom light was annoying especially when you havenā€™t finished your business.

Good location for transportation and economical
Hotel was very convenient to the train station, 20 minute easy walk to old city. There are 5-6 stairs to get to reception and elevator. A few restaurants were within a 5-10 minute walk. Our room was on 1st floor and very small, closet space for hanging was very limited and only 3 hangers. Bathroom was very small as well, very small counter space for toiletries. The shower was a rainfall type and very nice. Beds were comfortable but the pillows were not. The room was very clean. Breakfast was just okay for 14 euro. 2 types of cereal, white bread for toast, croissants, whole fruits, scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon, orange and apple juice, coffee. The price for the room was good compared to most hotels in Salzburg and it met our needs just fine.

The property is in a residential area of town where it is relatively quiet. It is a very old house that was probably not meant to be a hotel. You hear every noise partly because the walls are thin and the hallways are tile. Breakfast buffet had plenty of selection but was ā‚¬14 pp per day extra. Also parking (short way away from the hotel) was ā‚¬16 per day extra. The staff is VERY friendly

Itā€™s a few minutes walk from the train station. Totally walkable to the attractions, even to the Fortressā€™s cable car station. Only 6-7 minutes walk from the Mirabellplatz. The room is small, reasonably clean and updated.

Lovely hotel with a spacious room and separate bathroom. The staff were very helpful and friendly and let us check in early. Would highly recommend as it is in a great location, very close to the main train station.

Property charged 221.00 the day I arrived. I was saying 3 nights for 570.00. The night before checkout they charged me 410.00 dollars. I had an early morning train ride so I left and no one was at the front desk. Since I had confirmed the night before my bill was completed, I didn't expect them to charge me an additional 570.00. called the property, no answer regarding additional charges.

Fairly good location that is walkable to city center and sites. Clean, friendly and helpful staff. Sir conditioning did not work properly. Safe box was complicated, and needed help. Breakfast was good, and reasonably priced.

When checking in I was asked to show a receipt for payment I had made for stay at Lasserhof Salzburg. I opened the Expedia App but this app does not provide a well stated receipt. When I tried to open "View Receipt" on the app it would not open. When I opened the "Payment and Details" tab this stated what had been paid, but if did not state my name and did not state the hotel's name. Expedia needs to improve its app. It is not good enough to have to comb through different screens to try to piece together this sort of information. A receipt should be one document that states the name of the Payor, name of Payee, what is was for, now much was paid and date of payment. As it was I had to take 3 screen shots and collate these together in an email to Lassehof to provide this information. Expedia needs to sort itself out and stop wasting people's time.

Great location for us. Walkable to main train station (8 min), walkable to food and shopping (5-10 min), old town (15 min). All our tours started within 10 min walk. Clean room, friendly staff, rooms were small, but great for the price. I would recommend.
