Great place for being hundreds of years old. Room very large with sitting area not much of a view but did not spend much in the room. Perfect area to stay middle of town . Great breakfast with awesome view of river. Desk great customer service. Definitely would recommend this hotel and looking forward to coming back.

It is a great location. The "other" building is a trek from the main building but rooms are bigger. Need to explain the AC/Heat system better to guests. WAY TOO NOISEY if windows are open at night, construction.

This hotel was situated right in the middle of Old Town, a perfect location to all the shops and restaurants. The rooms were very spacious, if a little dated but everything was very good. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful

Front desk check in lady is unprofessional and rude. Extremely shrewd. Everyone else in the hotel was pleasant except for the lady with glasses who checked us in. It was such a put off at the start of a vacation. Room was really small. Two beds were joined together to make a double bed. Bathroom shower and the glass enclosure was difficult to operate. The location however was perfect. But there are better hotels around the same location too so donā€™t recommend this one.

The staff was SO friendly and the location was perfect! A 30min walk to the train station and walking distance to all of the Salzburg notable locations. AC worked well. Bed and pillows were slightly uncomfortable. Overall, would recommend!

We contact the hotel through Expedia with a special request, they confirmed the request but when we arrived, they said it was not possible. The air conditioner did not work and although we reported it, they never repair it. But at least the night manager gave us a fan, of course it still very hot since it was summer time. One night the hotel did not have energy from 1 am to 3 am and the hotel does not have a generator. In addition, when you call reception, there was always an answer machine, never a person, at any time of the day. Water from the shower leaked into the toilet area, we had to use the bath robe or towels to contained water.
