Great country setting within 40 miles of San Antonio and just outside of Boerne.
I loved the decor and the country setting of this property. The check in and out were super easy. This house was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. The only thing I wish it had was a dresser so I could unpack my suitcase. There are a few end tables, baskets and shelves available for use but I missed having a dresser. This property does not have a hot tub as advertised, but that was not an issue for me. The outside deck could use some updating. The location is just outside of Boerne, which is a quaint town with alot of shopping and restaurants. It is also within driving distance of other communities and San Antonio is only 40 minutes away. I really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Great getaway cottage
We spent 9 days here conducting business and visiting family and friends. The VRBO cottage was a wonderful place to retreat to at the end of the day to relax in the Hill Country. Our hosts were helpful when needed but respectful of our privacy. Very convenient to Boerne and San Antonio.

We came into town to visit my husband's family for his parent's 50th anniversary, and as the rental was near my inlaws house, it made for great overflow space for my husband, myself and our 2 kids (5&7) to stay. I had to work during the time we were there so I needed quiet space. The setup was great for a quiet, peaceful break from everyone. Note that if you're wanting to work, the WiFi is not incredibly strong, so I was able to use my hotspot. The home was comfortable, well appointed, and well located to be close to Boerne. Melissa was kind and communicative. I would gladly stay there again.

Hill Country Retreat
We so enjoyed our stay as we attended several family functions for my nieces wedding. It was convenient to our venue and extremely peaceful. The huge herd of Axis Deer in the driveway on the last night of our stay was the icing on the cake!

Enjoyed our stay at the property. Very quiet country setting and easy access. Also nice to be away from the hustle of town. The towels provided were very soft. Bed was super soft, in fact most comfortable bed we have slept on in a VRBO. Ceiling fans could be changed out to provide more/better air circulation for summertime, and a/c could use an upgrade as it is a little loud and took a while to cool the house properly. Overall no major complaints, owner was very good at communication concerning ongoing projects on the property and would definitely recommend the cottage to stay in for a couple and will keep in mind for future stays in the area!

Nice quiet place to stay
We had a wonderful stay for 11 days, love the aniamals, dogs, goats, horse. Boerne is our second home and to be on our road even was wonderful. Nice chat with Jim, everything you needed. The water pressure was wow, was a little to strong in the shower for me, was like a water pick. Loved having the washer dryer, came home with all clean clothes. Love the teal colors my favorite. Bed very soft and loved the king bed. We will be back again! Thank you so much

Serene, cozy place with great location
My wife and I wanted a place to not just crash, but hang out a bit between visits to Bandera (tubing), downtown Boerne (super close by), and a few other short trips. The cottage is super clean and very well thought out with nice sheets, blankets, towels, furniture. Very private. Deck was great too!

We had a great one month stay in the guesthouse while visiting family in the area. This property is in a rural area but well located for Boerne restaurants and attractions. The guesthouse is nicely decorated and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
