Fantastic single family house in San Antonio's Northwest side, five minutes from Sea World and Lackland Air Force Base and only 15 to 20 minutes to the Riverwalk, the Alamo, Six Flags, and the airport. This recently remodeled property is spacious with over 1,800 square feet of living space, vaulted ceilings, private backyard, and ample room to accommodate 8 guests.

This high-ceilinged home has 3 bedrooms with 3 Queen size beds, one King size bed, 2 bathrooms, a formal dining room, a spacious kitchen with a breakfast nook, and a comfortable living room with a large sectional and a 49" Samsung Smart TV. There are Samsung Smart TVs and wifi and apps. in each bedroom. There is wireless cable programming and internet.

The master bedroom has 2 queen beds and a very large master bathroom with large remodeled shower.

One guest bedroom has a king bed, the other guest bedroom has a queen bed.

The tree-shaded backyard includes a patio table with umbrella and chairs and a gas barbeque grill that you can use to enjoy an outdoor family gathering.

This is a LEGAL short term rental. Please be aware that if you book with a host who does not post the permit number, that is an ILLEGAL rental, and YOUR RESERVATION CAN BE CANCELED WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE . To be sure you have a reservation when you arrive, always ask for the Short Term Rental Permit Number.

CATS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

NO DOGS OVER 50 LBS OR UNDER 1 YEAR OF AGE.

DOG fee us $75 per dog, $90 for 2 dogs. We allow maximum of 2 dogs.
It is paid through VRBO either at the time of reservation, or before check in.

Pet Rules: supervise pets inside and outside of home. Kennel when out of home or lock in bedroom. Keep off beds. Pets act differently in new places.

Please note that the pet fee DOES NOT pay for poop removal.  All pet owners are responsible for poop pick up. If that is not acceptable, it would be better to choose another property. Please understand that  these rules allow us to continue offering this service.

SPECIAL SITUATIONS
Please take a moment to read some housekeeping items about pets.  We are dog owners and dog lovers, and we like our guests to bring their pets, because we know from personal experience, how that enhances a vacation and simplifies the arrangements.  We ask you to follow some simple rules, that are, of course, not necessary in your own home, because your pets are used to their own home environment.  Also, please reflect that the home is used by pet owners and also by others who do not tolerate pets.

When you are not home, or not supervising your pet, we ask that you kennel them.  Our home has been damaged from well behaved pets that altered their behavior in the new environment.  If you cannot bring a kennel, we will provide one for you.  Worst case, we ask that you close the pet in a bathroom. when you cannot supervise your pet.

Do not allow pets on the beds for any reason.

Please pick up all pet waste from the yard before you leave. There is a $25 fee per poop pile. 

Do not use the white towels for pets (or makeup).

Please control barking, so we do not disturb the neighbors. 

Outside of the home, please keep your pet on a leash. Please do not allow your pet to disturb the drip system.  We have had to charge fees to repair the drip system from curious dogs. 

I hope these simple rules do not impact your vacation.  They are necessary so we can continue to allow pets in our home.  Thank you so much for your consideration.  We consider it an honor that you chose our home, and want you enjoy your stay, and return in the future.

Guests may leave a maximum of 5 kitchen size bags of trash per week. Trash pick up is Wednesday morning. Please take the brown trash bin to curb Tuesday evening, and return it after pick up.

House was clean, as advertised, easy to get into, communication with the host was good. There were a lot of instructions (several pages) at the front of the house, on the fridge, and in a binder with lots of rules and warnings about extra fees in addition to small notes in many places like the bathroom and by TV remotes warning of extra fees. The owners very clearly care about the property, but we thought the volume of rules and warnings was excessive.

It was close to everything. Be prepare for mosquitoes if you like being outside. But, they had bug spray for that. It felt like home. Nice neighborhood, the manager respond quickly if there’s a problem. The house is exact replica like online.

Delightful Accommodations!
My husband stayed here for 4 weeks while working onsite in San Antonio; I joined him for about a week of it. He has traveled extensively for work for the last 20 years and he says this place is, hands down, the best accommodations he's ever had. I have to concur! The owners are extremely communicative and easy to work with. The house is clean, spacious, and artfully decorated (not cluttered with a bunch of annoying knick-knacks on every surface like so many rentals are). There is a large chalkboard in the dining area (colorful chalk provided) if you're feeling artistic. The kitchen was well-appointed with cookware, utensils, and small appliances (husband loves smoothies and was pleasantly surprised to find a blender). The outdoor areas are beautifully landscaped with a really nice gas grill that he used several times per week. Neighborhood is quiet! Another really nice detail was all of the cleaning/laundry/bathroom supplies! (Guests are encouraged to replenish items as needed so that subsequent guests are well-provisioned--loved that.) There were also ample instructions/guidelines in the kitchen and laundry room (as well as a binder in the front hall) to take any guesswork out of how everything works. The beds were extremely comfortable. Bedrooms have flat screen televisions and lovely updates like areas to store your suitcase and hang clothing up. We appreciated the plentiful options for lighting too (dimmers, lamps, etc.). I could go on and on. Highly recommend!

The flys was coming in the house with doors & windows where close we couldn’t eat anything , i took pictures & video I sprayed an didn’t help an feel the host know this by his comments once I was able to reach him threw Vrbo agent his would answer my call!

A good place to stay
The home had good space for our family (4 adults and 2 kids). The yard was great for our kids to get outside and get their energy out. Lots of resources (grocery, pharmacy, park, restaurants) in the area. Neighborhood felt very safe and quiet. The home was clean and well supplied. We did not realize the tv does not have local live television, but were able to link our devices to the television without difficulty to watch streaming services.

Spacious and convenient location.
We mostly enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was well stocked with helpful dishes, good pans, seasonings and such. Bathrooms as well. Was so glad there was an iron and ironing board, as I had forgot my iron. Tons of space for our family of 4. Parking in the garage was wonderful, especially with the heat! The house was clean and well stocked but One cleaning note, house cleaner isn’t doing the floors very well. If you walk around the house bare foot or in socks the bottoms of your feet get quite dirty. Noticed it from the first evening after we arrived. So not from us. If you come in the hot part of summer please note…..the AC really can't keep up in this heat. Might need a PM. We kept it at the requested temp of no lower than 72 and started out trying 74 but it wasn't cutting it. Each time we would leave, the AC Nest turns off itself until we return and it suddenly kicks on, and it takes all night to cool the house to more reasonable. Making getting to sleep not as comfy. Kept all fans on high including the additional box fans that were in each room. Now please realize this was during 100+ temps outside so maybe it isn’t so bad during more reasonable temps? Overall though it was a good stay.

My son’s graduation from the Airforce
We were hot every night in the room with the king size bed. Everyone’s room seemed cooler than this one. You may want to check into that. I would have liked more towels for 6 adults, but that is minor. We really liked the house and it was perfect for us. It was clean and comfortable and a great location to Lackland. It took us 15 minutes!
