This was a nice, comfortable and clean space with perfect accessibility to the Riverwalk. Easy walking to many places. The beds were very comfortable. Front desk staff was always friendly and helpful. It was secure. The main issue with this rental is the location faced a very noisy corner. The front bedroom was very loud, as was the living area due to nighttime cars and motorcycles revving engines. For some reason that corner seemed to be the place to cruise at night. The unit is not very soundproof at all in that way.

I am very happy with my stay at the Maverick. The people were very personable and professional. They were always there to assist or offer knowledge. My room was clean and had everything I needed. I highly recommend it and will go back again when I come to SA.

No parking close to hotel. Had to pay for parking to checking in. It also took me 30 minutes to open the door to the hotel. They are locked with no way to reach those inside. I had to call several times before anyone picked up the phone. After checking in, I was required to park my car myself a couple of block away because they did not have valet 🙄. After returning to the hotel, i walked into a room with another couple in it!!!! I recognized them as the couple who checked in after me…The front desk assigned both of us to the same room!!!!!

The staff of The Maverick were exceptional. The rooms/apartments were very comfortable and clean. This hotel is so close to the river. Would definitely stay here again.

Xmas vacation.
The room was very nice clean and great water pressure. The only withdrawal was the windows seemed thin because of the noises Down Below in the city were loud up until around midnight so if you go to bed early it would be hard to fall asleep. The continental breakfast that was advertised was not available we received a coupon for a free coffee and taco breakfast one time out of three nights that we stayed. I would appreciate a compensation back. Staff and hospitality was very very good. The walk to the Riverwalk was very short one good block away I highly recommend you go on the boat ride.

Overall average. Convenient location, but due to a festival on the corner, it was extremely loud until late hours. Upon entering the property there was a smell of weed. It was clean otherwise. Door to the bathroom would not close properly. Staff was friendly and helpful.
