The property was adorable, including the rooms. It really has a lot of potential rooms are actually very clean love the wood floors I would do away with the rug under the bed. They just hold too much dirt. Bed was comfortable great kitchenette. The poor review is due to the fact that at 12:45 AM they started construction right outside our door with jackhammer power washers, compressors generators and it went till 5:30 in the morning. We had people in the hallways throughout the night, hollering and yelling and making noise that was not tolerable, there is not enough soundproofing in these rooms It finally got quite at 5:45 and I only slept until 730 when I asked the front desk to please extend my stay until at least 2 o’clock so I could get at least some sleep. I was already gonna miss an entire day from my business due to the lack of sleep, she told me there was nothing that she could do unless she charged me for another night and she could only let me check out at noon at this point. There was no way to go back to sleep and I was hungry and needed some breakfast by the time I got done with breakfast. It was already 11 o’clock so I just left , I would recommend that you keep updating the hotel with the elevators, front lobby floors, and hallways as that has not been done and they were pretty bad. It has a lot of potential but the least it could’ve done is let me get some sleep as the hotel was not booked. I asked for management and I never heard from anybody.

Thing that got me was, the TV in the room didn’t connect to the internet all weekend, place had no area to lounge or watch television. The 2 complimentary drinks we were supposed to have gotten, didn’t happen because there is no bar.

We were in the 6th floor and you could hear everything. People screaming from the riverwalk and every vehicle with loud music. There was no curtains so the sun hit us every morning. Rest was ok.

First off, the staff was amazing!! They did all they could do to make our stay pleasant. We planned to be there 7days but left after 3! The building is in need of upgrades! The room was too noisy at night, where you could here the nightclubs front row noisy from our room 9 floors up. And when the city sprayed down the streets one morning you could smell the odors from below, and construction throughtout the area was ridiculous. If we had KNOW ahead of reserving a room downtown we would have planned differently.

Only problem was My room face the street and there was a lot of noise on the street all night horses the clip-clopping, loud motorcycles and car stereos and the ceiling fan in my room made a loud clicking noise so I had to shut it so I didn't get much sleep
