I (Alaska) rented with my dad (local) and my brother (DC). We each enjoyed having our own bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. My bed in particular was amazingly comfy with just the right amount of pillows (always a vexation when I travel- sometimes you just need 4, right?). The kitchen was perfect for our little group- you wouldn’t want 5 people trying to cook a big feast in there, but we made several meals at home with no problems. The proximity of neighbors, despite it being a townhouse, was a non-issue. We didn’t hear a peep through the walls. It was nice having the garage, though an opener would have been helpful (perhaps there is one, we didn’t even think to ask, just did some Olympics practice to manually hit the button and jump over the sensor while racing out). There are a lot of stairs, which was not a surprise, but full disclosure. This is not for you if you can’t do a full set just to get up to the front door (2nd floor). My dad is not the most spry, and he did fine. All of the bedrooms are on the third floor or down a full set of stairs through the garage, so you will be going up and down stairs once inside no matter what.
10/10 would book again. Wi-Fi was great, we were able to stream or play our own devices to the TV without issues (don’t forget to sign out of your personal logins on the TV if you use the apps on it), plenty of towels, toiletries, and even some staples in the kitchen for cooking.
