I did not have a good experience. I arrived late and THERE IS NO PARKING. It's street parking, and late at night, there is nothing available. The closest paid parking is a half mile away. My room code did not work. Thankfully, someone picked up the phone and assigned a new room, but that messed up all the other codes. I must have called 10x to sort the mess out. It's noisy. Tons of traffic and planes constantly flying overhead. Just an overall very stressful experience. That being said, the rooms are nice.

Easy, quick check in. Room with a private bathroom and separate kitchen was clean and convenient. The only drawback, no desk or anywhere to sit to do work. The only place to seat is the bed. Also, lighting is tough for a virtual meeting. Other than that, great location.

First off, the bathrooms were dirty and floors looked like they hadn’t been mopped in months. Second, no one was ever at the front desk. Third, our check out was at 11 and at 10:30 we heard someone knocking and then proceeding to type in a code seemingly attempting to our unit. We had to physically hold the door down after telling them no. After that, they walked away allowing us to go to the bathroom and then when we tried to enter with our original codes, we were locked out at 10:50. Unable to speak to customer and being on hold, we texted the number to find it was changed alerting us.

Hotel Zindel was great! Our first stay in this style of hotel where there isn’t a large onsite staff presence. Place was great. Very clean and such a perfect walkable area.

No staff = unsafe stay
This hotel has no staff; it is fully automated. While interesting in concept, it doesn’t work when technical issues arise. Guests must enter codes to open the front door to the hotel. For the duration of the trip, I did not receive updated codes to unlock the front door to get into the hotel. This forced me to call the corporation and wait outside the hotel in the dark alone. This hotel is located near the highway 5 overpass and I did not feel safe as a solo female traveler. I should have been able to enter and exit the hotel seamlessly during my stay. I am curious what would happen if any of the guests experienced an emergency during their stay. Who would assist them in getting critical help? After staying here, I realized that hotels need staff and this system simply does not work.

My room was very quiet despite being immediately next to the highway. There were no curtains or shades on the two large bathroom windows (it was unclear if people could see in from outside, but I was able to see the highway and window of a nearby house). The check-in process using door codes went smoothly for me, but I saw an international guest who was struggling because she couldn't receive the door codes at her international phone number. The property appeared well-kept. It was surprisingly quiet inside even though the hallways echoed whenever any guest spoke or closed a door in the hallway. The hotel is well-positioned in location to many great Little Italy dining options. There is no parking or onsite luggage storage, but I found paid alternatives nearby.

Terrible! Shared community bathroom which is highly unsanitary. Bathroom floor was dirty, low water pressure. Then they updated codes without updating you via Text message so I was outside stuck at 3am trying to reach someone to get the new password. Then updated the bathroom password so I couldn’t shower before checking out and didn’t even accommodate a late check out. Thin cheap walls, you can literally hear everything from the loud streets to the person walking in the hallway. I wouldn’t recommend. Cheap and poorly built building. Oh and no parking. I won’t be back!
