We enjoyed our stay at the Westin Bayview. Friendly staff and a comfortable and clean room. It's quite a busy hotel with lots of events so elevators were in high demand which was the only thing I didn't love.

It’s a perfect location for anything downtown…always greeted by friendly staff and the hotel is clean and very quiet! Always my come to place in San Diego..

The properties really close to the Midway and the San Diego zoo. Was nice to be able to just walk to many locations

Waited over an hour for an airport shuttle. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

I made a reservation months ahead and confirmed it, but when I arrived, they had NO room for me. I had to wait and wait while they checked out several rooms. Then I ordered room service for the next morning. It didn't come on time so I called. They lied & said it was on the way. IT NEVER ARRIVED SO I HAD TO CANCEL, RUSH DOWN & GRAB WHATEVER I COULD so I could get to my ride on time. I had to insist on being comped for that after a worker ran after me to get me to pay. Also, the phone in the room kept disconnecting from the wall. And the main desk couldn't hear me. I couldn't get the room temp to stay where I set it. A worker had to come set it. I tried to review the bill the day before I left. They wouldn't let me & said I could the next morning. So, the next morning I tried again & they wouldn't let me! DON'T LIE TO ME!! All in all, after traveling the world, I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. My friend said Westin was very good. I DISAGREE. I have had better service at Hilton, Best Western & even Motel 6! NOT HAPPY!!!

Not to the normal standards of other Westins I have visited. The sinks and showers showed stains and grime. We were initially only given 1 towel in the room (2 occupants) the AC was not working and we had to be moved to a different room, but only after we complained several times that it was too hot to sleep comfortably. Not worth the price per night for all the hassle. My sister and her husband were also staying at this particular hotel and they also had complaints about only having a single towel and the uncleanliness of the bathroom.

Overall, hotel was clean. It was a good central location. However, if you walk around, there are lots of transient and smell of urine. We walked yo breakfast and there was someone spraying down the pavement - feces and urine. We were so disappointed because my husband forgot his cap and gown and graduation hard cover there. When we call the next day, no one turned it in. I called a couple of days later again as security said he would check the room, but nothing. Why they would want those is beyond me. I know it’s our fault for forgetting it, but that’s why there is a list and found. So disappointing.

Nice room with a view
Location was very convenient to the harbor and all of it's activities. The room was smallish, but had great amenities. Our view was of the harbor. It was a good stay.
