perfect! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the helpful and cheerful staff who truly made the experience special. The motel is tucked away in the fantastic Hayes Valley neighborhood, and it was such a quiet, safe spot that we immediately felt at ease. We parked our car in the free parking lot (a huge perk in San Francisco!) and didn’t need it at all until we left. Everything was walkable—Golden Gate Park, Haight-Ashbury, Japantown, Chinatown, and even the Marina were all just a stroll away. The area is full of great restaurants and shopping, yet the motel itself is nestled in a neighborhood-like setting, giving it a peaceful vibe while still being in the center of everything. The rooms were incredibly comfortable with great beds that gave us the perfect night’s sleep. It’s also very family-friendly, and it felt like a haven during what was a special trip for us. We were in town to see Hamilton at the Orpheum Theater as a Christmas gift for our daughter, and staying at The Inn at the Grove made our trip so much more relaxed and fun. This is definitely one of my new favorite spots in San Francisco. I can’t recommend it enough! If you’re looking for a quiet, safe, and welcoming place to stay in the heart of the city, The Inn at the Grove is it.

First for the price the room was very nice and clean, seems updated. Don’t let the motel look scare you. Very limited parking but there is a parking garage down the street. We enjoyed that there was an eatery connected in the parking lot. Food was very good. The bathroom at least in our room was not well maintained, exhaust fan didn’t seem to work at all, the mirror looks to be old and back was peeling. Bath had no stopper, rusty hinges, Mold on the shower tiles. Regardless to say we were afraid to take a shower with the mold being there. Counter top was mounted with just 2x4 frames. I am picky and since I’ve done framing to finish work I see it all. Overall very quiet. I wouldn’t have my family stay here again but if I need to come to the hospital on my own I’d stay by myself.

We had a junior suite and it is a very good size. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were clean. Doors on the outside but I felt safe. Loved that the parking is free. That is hard to find in San Francisco. We stayed here because it is close to where my daughter lives and we could walk to her place. Plus many Lyft bikes are available in this area and different modes of transportation. Lots of shops and little restaurants around. Located in the Hayes District.

Very good but musty
The location is very good. Clean but very musty smelling rooms. Dated bathroom. Absolutely fine for a room just over a hundred per night. Comfy bed.
