The breakfast was great. For lunch and dinner you can either walk minutes for upscale dining or 13 minutes walk to Multiplaza with 365 stores and every fast food place. The hotel does not have the tropical Costa Rica vibe. The pool is small but clean. Most tours pick up from hotel which is convenient.

My first check in was not that good I was totally ignored I am a regular guest at the hotel, but due to the pandemic I wasn’t able to travel , but Diane at the front desk came and checked me in and made sure I was straight. Excellent Hotel in a superb location. Affordable, fantastic breakfast. Just minutes from Multiplaza Shopping mall and walkable distance from great dinning options. Filippo Restaurante and the Restaurant at Grano de Oro are highly recommended. Safe location to walk in a high-end neighborhood. Poas, Waterfall and Irazu Volcano Tours are highly recommended too.
