This is new hotel, with impeccable and tasteful decoration. The staff, at all levels that we encountered, is welcoming, friendly and diligent. But for the hot water, which was scarce, and room curtain (that did not open), this facility is awesome and we will stay again. It also must be understood that as a newly constructed hotel, they are dealing with construction defects. However, our experience was one of a kind. The hotel has a beautiful rooftop restaurant with a privileged view of the San Cristobal fort and Old San Juan in general. It also has a spanish andalusian restaurant at the lobby. Both served excellent food and superior service. In short. Alma is a must stay hotel and we will return.

Alma Hotels and Resort was a beautiful surprise! From the rooftop pool from where you can get a beautiful view of the city, to the close proximity of all the historic locations, this hotel was a delight and we enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is a lovely boutique hotel. However, our room was in the middle of the hall way, were you can listen to everyone coming in and out. I recommend sound proofing the room.

La instalacion era toda renovada,muy limpia y optimo servicio,pero lastimosamente pase la noche escuchando toda la conversacion de la habitacion de al lado.no tiene las puertas ni paredes con aislamiento de ruido.el telf de la habitacion para el operador tampoco servia.realmente una lastima porq la ubicacion es optima .todo limpio y nuevo.pero sin privacidad en el aspecto de la acustica

A Must Stay
Alma Hotel is absolutely amazing! From the minute we arrived to the minute we left the team at Alma was incredible. Our room was beautiful and cleaned daily. The rooftop restaurant was outstanding. Everyone was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The hotel is centrally located and made walking around Old San Juan very easy. I highly recommend staying at Alma!
