Apartment 2 is YELLOW and small.
It was good overall. We stayed 10 nights. Fresh sheets and towels were left at our door after 5 days. The bed was comfortable. When we arrived, we found that 2 towels had fallen into the toilet from the shelf above. There were still extra towels, so not too bad. The walls, ceiling, cupboards, and bathroom in our room (#2) are all a bright yellow. It was not to our taste. One of the bottom drawers of the ā€œkitchenā€ (one wall of the bedroom) would not stay closed. That was a constant annoyance and a hazard. The bathroom basin is TINY. Itā€™s impossible for shaving and brushing teeth. The windows are high and do not allow looking out. The outside common areas are pleasant. The washer and dryer each require 8 quarters. Detergent is not provided. The location was good for us for walking 1 mile to Ocean Beach. It was quiet and we slept well. The AC works well.

This would be a nice property if you had a car but otherwise it was a thirty minute walk to the restaurant area. It was advertised as centrally located and I wrongly assumed I'd be close to restaurants and activities. The inside was lovely and the bed was firm, which is important to me. Hauling our suitcases up the stairs was a surprise. Easier if you had backpacks. It did give a sense of living in a Puerto Rican neighborhood. There was plenty of noise by day, but at night even the roosters were quiet. The hot water was unreliable and the bedroom fan didn't work. Hopefully that will get fixed. Also the sink in the bathroom was so tiny it was hard to brush teeth in it. The host left a bottle of wine as a welcome gift and multiple bottles of water in the fridge, so that was a nice touch. They also left a phone number if anything came up. We ended up leaving after the first night to be closer to restaurants and the beach.

I had an amazing 9-day stay in this room! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a thoughtful welcome letter, a bottle of exclusive Puerto Rican wine, a cute keychain, and a pen. The room was well-stocked with sodas in the fridge and all the essentialsā€”mouthwash, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I loved having my own private entrance on the ground level with a beautiful vista to enjoy. They even let me leave my suitcase before check-in time, which was incredibly convenient. The cleaners were also so friendly and helpful, answering all my questions about the island. Truly a wonderful experience!

Mansion MiraFlores is located centrally in San Juan. It is close to the airport, car rental sites. It is close to all San Juan and Old San Juan tourist attractions. There is a beach nearby where you can park for $5, and enjoy the gorgeous Puerto Rican coastline all day and most of the night. It is called Balneario del EscambrĆ³n. The free parking at Mansion MiraFlores was ideal for me. I easily drove to El Yunque, Fajardo bioluminescent bay, Luquillo beach, Vieques Ferry, and many more beautiful places.

This property was good. We enjoyed the quiet walkable neighborhood. The kitchen and bathroom amenities were great. You literally have everything you need to cook, beach chairs, coolers. Great additions. However, the towel rack in the bathroom needs replacing and if youā€™re going to use the hot tub turn it on when you arrive. It took 48hrs to completely heat up =\. Maybe itā€™s time for a new one? I would definitely stay again in the future.
