The check in/check out process was super easy! Our room was beautifully decorated, clean, and convenient. The staff were kind and it was a beautiful property with a pretty pool/jacuzzi. The walls are a bit thin, so it was a bit noisy at times but otherwise an incredible stay and can’t wait for our next trip!

This place should not be allowed to list on Expedia. First, it’s located in a very dangerous area. Second, the staff hardly speaks English. The person on duty at night spoke no English at all. Third, the “pool” is no larger than a plastic pool one would buy at Target. Fourth, there is no housekeeping whatsoever. The sheets and the towels that we had to go to the office to get, were soiled. Lastly, the free parking that they advertise is no more than an abandoned lot around the corner, where the homeless reside. I spent one night of a possible 5 in this hell hole, and got out of dodge. But, they still managed to charge me for 2 days. Do not go to this place. It was scam after scam.

I loved my stay here. I went on my first solo trip and it was a 10/10. It was very clean, modern, and in a safe area. There are coffee/resturants in walking distance. There are beaches all around some within 7-11 minutes. The staff were responsive and very helpful with suggestions. The pool & jacuzzi was my favorite part of the stay. When I come back to Puerto Rico. i would stay here everytime. I loved it.

The area is noisey, and dirty. The facility is gated so we were pleased. The receptionist was inviting and room seemed acceptable until I was locked in the bathroom for 20 minutes when the doornob fell off. Then we had to get clean sheets and pillow cases at 11pm. No wash cloths and the bathroom flooded everytime you took a shower. The floor was extremely dirty. We spoke to management and they shared cleaners were limited and guests needed to clean their own rooms.

This is a lovingly restored historic building. We had a standard room, which is in the basement, and doesn’t have windows. However, it was nicely appointed and the bed was great. Very quiet. The property overall is beautiful, and the concierge staff was AMAZING. We arrived before check in, and they kept our bags safe while we went out. They provided more than one excellent recommendation, and they helped us book a 3 am taxi for the airport. The downsides: the direct area feels sketchy, although we didn’t have any bad encounters. And it’s really close (a block or two) to the nice area in Santurce. Our room was ready about an hour later than check in time. This was due to short staffing. We were able to hang out in the pool though. We will consider Patio Elba again for sure.
