I had a 12 hour overnight connection at the San Juan airport. I had never been there and had planned to just stay in the airport. After traveling all day I was tired and a security guard suggested the airport hotel. It’s an older building but the rooms were newly remodeled and clean, they had a restaurant that was open that night, and complementary breakfast the next morning. It was perfect for what I needed. The staff was excellent: friendly, helpful, very professional.
