The Wave Hotel is very affordable and convenient to the eateries. The hotel needs to make some renovations though. There is NOT an open rooftop bar and there is no pool, instead it’s a whirlpool which was not clean. If you are looking to have a good time, without the glam, The Wave Hotel is ideal.

My stay overall was okay. The staff were friendly and the hotel was in good condition. I don’t think I would stay again because i have really bad nasal congestion and the windows couldn’t be open. They said for security reasons. The air condition temperature regulator wasn’t working.The room was clean daily, but hairs strands were left behind in the bathroom. But the location is great close to the center of el condado. I would rate my stay a 6.5/10.

This hotel has been the worst experience of the hotels I have stayed in. It doesn't have parking, the light goes out every hour, we couldn't even watch TV, or use the jacuzzi, I mean nothing. very disappointed from day one since we arrived at 3am we didn't even take a bath and on top of these the person who cleaned the room the next day put the hairs that they found in the bathtub from the other persons before in our soapbox when we didn't bath because we arrived 3am from the airport to the hotel so late. The staff was terrible every day they were talking in the lobby and they didn't do their job and they treated us badly without courtesy, it was horrible this experience I would never recommend this hotel and I will never stay there again. They must change personnel and above all improve their problem with light.

PRO: The staff were extremely nice & welcoming. The area wasn’t the best HOWEVER everything was near bye. A bunch of restaurants, a Walgreens, a Cortes cafe & the beach were about a walking distance of 3 blocks in 1 direction. Selection of fast food & a Walmart in another direction. About 10 mins Uber from SJU. Another 10 mins Uber to Old San Juan. The AC was freezing! I don’t mind since I love the cold & it was 95 degrees. Area was quiet. Was able to get decent sleep. CON: Stayed in a twin bed room-was a little small for 2 people & a dog. Not too much room to move around & spread out. Same with the bathroom- too tight. Only 1 of the 3 vanity lights worked. Not much of a view. A view of the roof top of the dispensary next door which was dirty. Needs more sockets & USB outlets. Needs more light sources- it was hard to see around the room at night. Hallway carpeting needs a deep clean. Furniture needs upkeep or replacing. A dog friendly property but they don’t provide any accessories like bowls, beds or treats. Fresh water in a bowl in the lobby would’ve been nice after coming from the heat outside.
