Exclusive Very Large Quality One bed Penthouse a small friendly Complex

Exclusive One bedroom penthouse of real quality.

This large penthouse apartment is on the top (2nd) floor and being double aspect, it is very light and airy. There are two balconies overlooking both the pool, gardens, plus panoramic views over the ocean - being south facing there is plenty of sun too.
The lounge has a very high ceiling and thus makes it exceptionally airy and cool, as both open onto two the balconies . This apartment was fully refurbished during 2021 which included a totally new contemporary bathroom. The lounge has audio, digital flat screen TV (including English satellite channels), DVD and video. Rooms also have ceiling fans. The penthouse does not rely on Fairways unreliable, sluggish and expensive system, but now has its own private WiFi, which is both unlimited and FREE ! The American style kitchen is all electric, fully equipped with oven, ceramic hob, extractor, microwave, etc. There is also a washing machine, toaster etc and no charge for utilities or linen.

Most important is the south facing terrace and balcony - not only for the sun but also the views, plus being equipped with all mod cons the penthouse ensures a genuine 'home from home' feeling. The lounge also has a door opening onto a 'Romeo & Juliette' balcony which provides extra ventilation.

Fairways is a private complex and is gated. It is ultra safe and secure, but the penthouse has an electronic safe for peace of mind.
Fairways is a quiet and secure complex built in Andalusian village style. There are sub tropical gardens and an immaculate heated swimming pool which has a professional full time life guard. The accommodation and resort is ideal for families and those seeking an spacious quiet haven in which to relax.

Welcome Packs: If you are arriving late ie. when the Supermarket is closed you will have a free welcome pack waiting for you. Also there is a 24 hour key collection service for 'out of hours' arrivals.

Good week in a nice apartment
The apartment is very nice - spacious and airy. The bedroom is good and the bed comfortable. The bathroom facilities are also good with plenty of hot water for showers/basin etc. I agree with a previous client that it is a little misleading to say this apartment has two balconies, when it actually has a terrace with table and chairs and a "juliet balcony" - ie a door which you can open. This balcony is rusty and overlooks the roof terrace of next door, so we kept the curtains closed. We had a couple of niggles during our stay, couldnt get the TV to work - wifi code was written incorrectly and the induction hob stopped working. The Agents sorted all of this when they returned after the weekend, so not too much of a problem. A few more glasses in the kitchen would be good (tall ones, white wine and a couple of beer glasses possibly). Finally, the sun loungers on the terrace were very grubby and if there had been enough room to use them, we wouldnt have felt like doing so. That area would benefit from a deep clean and a coat of paint. Just a few suggestions, but overall we had a very nice time on a good complex.

A lovely apartment
This apartment had everything that you would need for a home from home. The terrace was lovely with all day sun. Steve and Susanne (the on site representatives) we’re very helpful as was Fairways reception staff. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything we’d hoped for
Clean and well equipped apartment as per listing. Although half term week the complex wasn’t over busy and the long term residents gave it a feel of a real community rather than a holiday complex. Lots of lovely places to eat, walkway along the coastline is well worth taking. We will be back next year, hopefully for 2 weeks this time and would love to stay in this apartment agan if available.

Slightly misleading saying 2 balcony’s.. there’s one, and a Juliet balcony. Nice bright apartment with good internet provided by the owner. No one on site got itv, but we did get bbc1, comfy seating too. Shower is good, very quiet at night. The pool area is lovely, and the trees and plants are superb, birds galore! Pond with turtles and fish seen from the balcony too. Onsite ‘La Mesa ‘ restaurant is good, a lot of the restaurants in this area have gone under, (Covid I think) but we tended to walk to Santa Barbara or Los Abrigos, where there is plenty of choice.

Two weeks in the Sun
Just returned from a two week stay in this lovely top floor apartment overlooking the pool area and view out to the Atlantic Ocean. Apartment was well equipped with a spacious balcony to fully enjoy the sun most of the day .Good to have Wi-Fi in the apartment and a washing machine . We ate in a few times during our stay , and tried out a variety of restuarants in the area. St Andrews Bar , 10 minute walk was our favourite . There is a local shop across the road from the Fairways , good for bread , milk and water. We found a Coviran supermarket about a 15 minute walk away which was well stocked . We used the local bus service to visit El Medano, Las Galletas , Los Cristianos . Other days we enjoyed a leisurely walk along the front to San Blas and Los Abrigos . Certainly walked our 10,000 + steps every day . Good communication with the owner before travelling , giving us lots of hints and tips on eating out . Good organised procedure for collecting and returning keys . We would use the apartment again .

A comfortable & well equipped apartment within a holiday complex. From the wi-fi to the books for reading you would be hard pushed not to find something to help pass the time in the sunshine. We particularly liked the balcony which had sunshine most of the day and the roof terrace with its sunbeds and privacy. Car hire is a necessity if you want to avoid the additional taxi costs to get back and forward to the busier resorts, there is a local supermarket with reasonable prices. The information provided by Roger was a great help especially the reviews on eating out. All in all, a really good experience and we will return again.

Wonderful holiday.
Lovely clean apartment with everything you need for a great holiday. Comfortable bed and chairs. TV and great Wi-fi in apartment. We were for a relaxing holiday and spent a lot of time on balcony, nipping in for cold drinks and lunch. Pool area and complex kept really clean. Plenty restaurants nearby , advise booking. Supermarket across road with most things you may need. Fresh bread, croissants daily. Fares to airport 15 euros. Plenty walks to go but was a bit hot some days. SAN Blas good to walk to and have lunch. Overall , well positioned apartment in Golf de Sur area. Will be back. Roger responds quickly to any queries which is reassuring.

1 bed Penthouse Positives: Communication with the owner was always quick, easy and friendly. Information on key collection and collection was straight forward. The Fairways complex is immaculately clean as is the apartment itself. The pool is also a plus point. Well equipped kitchen for those nights if you decide to stay in and cook a meal, although no table to sit and eat at! The bed was comfy ensuring a good nights sleep too!! Negatives: The balcony was a tad disappointing, it is enclosed and therefore the sun is restricted, and on windy days which can be quite regular it's too cold to sit out (the wind nearly always blows in the same direction on Amarilla Golf) maybe an idea to fit a clear screen at one side to shield from it. The apartment was advertised as "now having FREE unlimited WiFi" this is not the case. The complex has free WiFi but you need to go out of the apartment, and down the stairs to the WiFi area! if you wish to receive it in the apartment is is an extra charge at around €30 per week. Overall Nice apartment, nice complex
