We stayed for a girlfriend’s 60th birthday and had high expectations apparently. 1st off the smell around the resort was unbearable, smelled like sewage and put a damper on our desire to sit by the pool or eat outside. The rooms were nice and clean but the staff were not the friendliest. It almost seemed as their guest were an annoyance. I don’t think I’d stay here again.

They were doing some construction on a unit close to us so it was a little noisy early in the morning. But everything else was fabulous! Staff were friendly and quick to help answer any questions we had. We booked a few snorkeling trips and we really enjoyed them.

amazing place, great food, and amazing people. ramon's is my goto spot for san pedro. If you want you can just stay there and do diving and scuba and snorkel, eat, drink, amazing pool and jungle setup. They even picked us up from the ferry stop around the corner.

I loved the nature feel of the hotel and enjoyed the heated pool and restaurant on site but you cannot swim on the beach. It’s so dirty with algae and stuff. Has pipes blocking swimming all around since it isn’t safe. Not that the property has any fault but don’t come for Caribbean warm clear beach because you will be extremely disappointed. Also the island itself is not as cultured or fancy as I expected. This place is purely ripped jean shorts and a T-shirt kind of place which sucked for me since I like to dress up. Staff was excellent!!!!

Ramon's is truly breath taking. The grounds are immaculate and drown out all the noise from the busy town. The only small annoyance i had was that we got back from a day trip in Caye Caulker and they gentleman from Ramons giving rides back to the guest of the resort politely declined to give us a ride back because we were already checked in lol. Like i said it was only a small inconvenience as the walk back from the ferry station was short, but it was definitely annoying since it looked like he had no other people on the golf cart. Besides that-they have their own golf cart rental service which is super convenient and will pick you up and drop off to ferry station/airport when arriving/departing. Again, like i mentioned earlier the grounds are so gorgeous! The greenery is a tropical oasis! the dock is beautiful and nice to take a stroll on and see the tarpons a night. The beach is beautiful as well, the sargassum doesn't take much away from its magic. When we come back we are without a doubt staying here again

After a minor problem with the plumbing in our room, the hotel offered to upgrade us to the presidential suite. Everyone was so polite and helpful. I would highly reccomend a stay here.

Excellent hotel to choose. It’s like you are going into your own private jungle. Staff was great from the moment we checked in with Jose. They have their own golf carts to rent so you don’t ever have to deal with all the madness of getting harassed to rent them from others. Would definitely stay again next time we visit.
