NIce place with a great view
Very nice hotel and wonderful staff. Parking costs extra even though this site said it was included. Difficult to do as there is a barrier you have to open. Desk staff were very helpful when I needed them. Excellent breakfast with a killer view. Couldn't be better on this point. Walking to town is not very far but it is very steep. Good if you are fit. ROom was quiet and clean and very safe

Fabulous hotel with amazing views
Booked last minute whilst travelling through Spain. We knew it was up a steep hill from the photos of the view, but its worth it! The staff were very friendly, the room was very good with a balcony and the terraces and pool areas were fantastic. Breakfast was the best we've had so far on our two month trip! What a find, we loved it!

Amazing place.
Just came back from our 10 nights stay. Absolutely amazing place. Very clean rooms. Very good, friendly and helpful staff. High level service. Didnt expect nothing like this from 3 stars hotel. But WOW, its so beautiful, peaceful and relaxing place. Very good, fresh and so tasty food in restaurant, and one of the Best desserts we ever tried))) free car Park, free WiFi. We are 900% coming back. Im so in love with this place.

Pool and community area were amazing. Decks/balconies overlooking the Mediterranean were amazing. Rooms were not as updated as I expected. Missed having a fridge in the room which is very common in the states. Buffet breakfast was great.

Smell the sea!
We were in Costa Brava for a wedding. The location was beautiful and a quick walk down the stairs/hill dropped you right into town and the beach. We rented a car and would recommend the same to others heading out this way. Parking can be a little tough on the weekend but overall great stay and beautiful views. I would stay again (get a seaview room!).

Hotel Montjoi is superb place to enjoy the life. Well kept grounds, gorgeous interiors, amazing view from the dining room, generous half board buffet-style breakfast and dinner, jacuzzi-bath in the room, free parking and heavenly sea view (for extra cost) - everything about this place is fabulous. I want to come back as soon as possible and to bring all my family with.

Only stayed 2 nights half board. Not enough time. Would like to visit again but only for B and B. Evening buffet not great and seemed rushed. Lovely pool but it would be great to have STEPS in for elderly people.

We checked into this hotel after a long journey of 300 miles of driving. The staff are lovely very friendly. Even though we had a land facing room it was spacious and very clean with good furniture and comfortable bed. We did the evening dinner which is self serve. Hotel has a great view of the resort and town . Never stayed in the Costas. It wasn’t over developed and looked like a resort my parents took me to when I was a kid

Solid mid range hotel in fantastic location.
The staff here is the standout! Pau and the sweet young woman from Paris were both so helpful. They arranged a taxi for us to our friends wedding and when that cab didn’t respond for the return trip they found us another one at 1:30am! The walls are thin but everything is super clean and well kept, even if some of the interiors could use a tiny update. The pool is very nice with a great view of St Feliu. And the beach is a short walk. Although I found the Ronda walk from Sant Pol to Sal Conca to be just magical. Oh, forgot to mention the garage attendant late at night another night who saw me parking on the street and came and had me move the car into the hotel lot to prevent getting towed. The only big drawback was the endless musical festival both nights we were there til 3am! But that isn’t the hotels fault, just me being tired and of course it’s high season. The Spanish like to party! Didn’t try dinner but breakfast buffet was lovely. Again, the staff is superb here. They went above and beyond.

Excess noise
The tranquility of the location was marred by the following events, namely: 1. On the first night a party of hotel guests was celebrating loudly and obviously drunk on the external terraces. This went on until 03h00 in the morning and was not stopped by hotel staff. 2. On the second and third nights live bands played on the terraces underneath the balconies of the rooms overlooking the sea and the harbour. Even closing the balcony doors didn't prevent the noise intruding.

Beautiful view... But...
The hotel is off the beaten path, however it has a stunning view. The rooms are clean, but AC didn't work. And seems like the rooms should be renovated and brought current. Check out was a nightmare... the manager told me I hadn't paid... which was not true, I showed her the hotels.com email and receipt showing I did and she wanted me to send it to her along with a screenshot of the credit card charge from the bank. I did both of these things and spent 45-60 minutes arguing with her. she also tried to get me to pay tax separately / again!!!
