Nice room with beautiful view from balcony. Good location and good breakfast. Problem was with the water. It had a horrible smell. Also, it took a long time to get hot, at least five minutes! Doors and faucets were very difficult to open. Not sure if I’d return because these reasons. Too bad.

It's convenient if your wanting be close to the beach and pier but its across the street from the park with a lot of homeless ppl. The hotel was clean and breakfast was good. Just a bit older and small. We stayed for a night, enjoying the beach front activities and didnt spending a lot of time in the room. So it woeked out for us.

It's important to start with the fact the staff were super and location is great. We travel to Santa Barbara fairly often and these three reasons are why we will not stay here again: 1) AC in our unit did not work (staff moved us to a nice room with a functioning unit, but did not have the view of our original). 2) Noise (external) from the main street - if you have a room facing the ocean, the street noise is substantial at night. 3) Noise (internal) - while oddly our second room (with the functioning AC) was quieter (we had the park view side of the building) - there was a guy coughing in the next room over and it sounded like he was in our room.

Our room smelled like bleach for the entire stay. The AC was very musty and had a terrible smell. The walls were paper thin, we could hear our neighbors clearly late into the night.

Santa Barbara was nice, hotel not so much.
The room and bathroom were very small. It was loud being by the pool. We heard our neighboring rooms talking until very late. Also heard snoring all night. The breakfast and its staff were exceptional. We did enjoy the closeness to the harbor and marina. We rented kayaks.

Was given the worst room in the property. The staff was working on maintenance tasks by my room all day long. Laundry carts banged into the wall of our room, gardeners were chopped birds of paradise plants, electric blowers and saws, dumping rocks, and the list goes on and on. We couldn’t leave our window open and couldn’t nap. It was terrible, this room should not have been used while performing these tasks. We were very disappointed with our stay especially since we really enjoyed the staff at checkin. Will not return nor will we recommend.

Beachside Inn was perfect for a weekend getaway. Their free breakfast is nice, and the area around is lively in the day and very quiet at night. Air conditioning works perfect, bedding was clean, room was also very clean, and they were very accommodating to my skin allergy. I appreciate their hospitality and this is definitely a great value hotel.

We stayed a night during our drive up the coast and it was the nicest place from LA to San Fran. The kind offerings and the warm greeting started us on the right foot. The beautiful, clean and spacious room was perfect for us to rest after walking around and searching for seals, birds, and sea otters. Thanks for a great stay!

The hotel was nice but a bit outdated. The bathrooms could get an update. Rooms were clean. Lobby was nice with a nice service. We liked that the breakfast was included… it was definitely a bonus. The hotel is right across the street from the beach but in a quiet part of the town. The pools was available for use but a bit small for the amount of guests. Overall, We enjoyed our stay.
