nice and comfortable renovated room next to harbor
nice and clean comfortable stay motel located just next to the harbor side. Room was renovated with a dual pane sliding patio door to block out noise from the busy intersection. Our 2 night stay included free breakfast which served bagels bread and scrambled eggs out of a box kind. Unfortunately, no DIY pancake waffle makers like most hotel chains have.

Great location to relax after flying long haul from Australia and hiring a car at LAX to start our epic adventure. Friendly staff and great location to recover from jet lag. The breakfast was also more than adequate to start a road trip up to San Francisco the next day.

Very nice and clean hotel with excellent complimentary breakfast buffet. The room was very comfortable. Our room faced the park across the street. The street tends to be busy so it’s a bit noisy but things quiet down substantially at night. The only negative was the towels which are always damp due to the bathroom vent not being adequate. We would stay here again in the future.

The view was the best part of the room. The heat wasn't working in my room. the temps in the room dropped to 56 degrees, (Have pictures of thermostat). When I spoke to staff about the issue, I received different answers depending on who I spoke to. The end result being the whole area was without heat, which I am pretty sure violates some code as the thermostat was inoperable. What was i offered? Not a new room, not a space heater but $50.00 off my total stay. Insulting!! Upon checkout asked for a manager, of course the info that was given to me about one was incorrect as per the usual with this place. Never spoke to one. Breakfast was horrible and I don't want to even get into the whole no hot water issue I had with the shower. There are hotels all along Cabrillo Blvd, pick somewhere else.
