This hotel is very dated. There was a big crack in the ceiling. The bed was like sleeping on the floor. I took the largest pillow and put it under my back and slept on that. I learned a lesson--if it doesn't say "premium bedding" on the listing, I will no longer stay there. We skipped the shower, too. The staff at check in was very nice but she circled the wrong room so we moved our car to the back. It turns out our room wasn't even listed on the map and it was near the lobby. Breakfast was pricey but really good though.

Lemon Tree feels like a midcentury tropical resort. Very nice landscaping, spacious rooms. The staff was amazing, especially Frankie who helped us solve what was a minor problem but he put in a major effort. David at the front desk was efficient and courteous (and the front desk was very much understaffed at peak check in time).

Comfortable motel with beautiful grounds, nice restaurant & bar. Easy access to a variety of cozy restaurants & coffee shops in the neighborhood, plus museums & the walking areas of State Street.

Love the Lemon Tree
The Lemon Tree is a very cute, well maintained hotel. The room smelled so clean and fresh when we came in. The courtyard was so pretty and relaxing. Nice balcony and comfortable beds. Definitely a place we would stay again!

The property was very noisy with paper, thin walls, and the boxspring on our bed sounded like it was gonna collapse every time we moved. The amenities were very nice, but it was just unfortunate that we didn’t get a good nights sleep because of the noise.

My only issue with the property was the room. We have stayed there multiple times but unfortunately we ended up in a room that the fan in the bathroom would not turn off, it was okay until it got louder at night; needless to say didn’t sleep well. Front desk was apologetic; I now know to make sure I do not get those rooms.

We stayed at this hotel 2 times already and will come back in November. The staff is very nice, the rooms are spacious with a big balcony. The pool is nice and clean. The restaurant is good. We keep going back for the convenience and value.
