Completely renovated in 2008 and newly furnished, this unique two-level unit is part of a historic triplex in the desirable West Beach area. Your doorway is just 1-1/2-blocks from the sands and volleyball courts on West Beach near Stearn’s Wharf, and easy walking distance to downtown State St. shops and restaurants. Also very close is the Amtrak station; no need for a car at all if arriving by train!

The main-floor Living Room has a top-quality queen pull-out sofabed by AU for additional quests, and a 32' flat-screen HD-TV with HD-DirecTV and DVD-player.

The small galley kitchen has a fridge and stove/oven with granite counters, and is outfitted with microwave, coffee-maker, NutriBullet blender, toaster and cookware/dishware.

French-doors off the living area lead to a spacious, private outdoor deck area beside Mission Creek with patio table/chairs. Lots of birdlife.

Upstairs the sunny bedroom has a plush-top queen-size bed with down duvet & pillows, top-quality large dresser, desk and vanity. Adjoining white- tiled bathroom is outfitted with whirlpool tub and shower. Exotic walnut floors extend throughout.

Relaxing in the Sunshine
We loved being a couple blocks from the beach in a quiet neighbourhood. We thoroughly enjoyed having our breakfast and lunch at the unit inside and up on the outside deck and dinners out in the nearby restaurants. The access to transit was great. Our property managers were friendly, helpful with recommendations and prompt at responding. We had a wonderful experience.

My friend and I took a girls trip to Santa Barbara, and this unit was perfect for this trip. It was walking distance to everything we needed - beaches, urban wineries, restaurants, and shopping. We took our 5 year old son for a 4 day weekend in Santa Barbara and what a treat! This place is small, yes, but has everything you need! We made breakfast every morning, packed fresh lunches from the fridge, and ate dinner out on the town. We walked to the beach, the pier, and several other attractions. The only “struggle” was the parking, but it was NOT hard to find a spot on the street. 10/10 would stay again!

Cute Property, Amazing Location
This place was really charming and included all of the necessities. Bed was really comfortable, and the upstairs balcony/patio was really cool (the back patio was a nice bonus, too). But honestly, we didn't spend too much time in the property because the location was SO great. With just a 5 minute walk, you can get to the beach or to the Funk Zone and its amazing bars, restaurants, etc. Being close to the train station (about a 3 minute walk) was helpful, too ... it does bring some train noise (which didn't bother us too much) but it made continuing our trip on to LA very, very easy. When we visit SB again, this place will be at the top of our list of housing options.
