Enjoy this charming, beach house with HOT TUB on a quiet street just 1/2 a block from famous surf beach AND a quiet, sandy family friendly beach (Permit 211215 - expires 10/20/26)

Our home has 3 bedrooms (including a downstairs private master bedroom suite with full bathroom, kitchenette and private access to outdoor patio and hot tub), 2 full baths. This home away from home has it all: leather sectional, 65" SONY Ultra HD 4K TV, with ROKU to control SONOs sound bar/TV, fully equipped kitchen with waffle maker, rice cooker and coffee grinder, a kitchenette in the master bedroom suite, spacious living/dining room with stereo with iPod connection, cable TV, DVD/VCR and gas fireplace and landscaped private patio area, with HOT TUB. There is a 6 burner gas grill . Free wireless internet. Wi-Fi. EEROS WIFI repeaters to ensure high performance and internet access throughout the house and patios.

In addition, you will find a garage full of surfboards, bikes (6 adult - 2 child), beach chairs, boogie boards, beach wagon and sand toys for your fun in the sun. Feel free to use our SURFBOARDs!

Park your car here for a week and never drive again as a plethora of shops and restaurants as well as bike and walking trails are steps away.

Of course, you can walk to world class surfing and then retreat to your outdoor shower and toasty hot tub in private garden!

Downstairs Master Suite, with large granite counter kitchenette. In suite bathroom. Access to garden patio and hot tub.

Upstairs: 65' SONY Ultra HD 4K TV with DVR, SONOs sound bar and ROKU to manage your Apps and favorite stations.

Upstairs Bedroom #2, with a sliding glass doors to sunny deck, has one queen sized bed.

Upstairs Bedroom #3 features a trundle bed, surf themed comforters, a large window.

The two guest bedrooms share a full bath which includes tub/shower, towels, and bath amenities.

LIVING AREA

The kitchen with easy access to sunny deck with BBQs and outdoor sitting area.

Large capacity new dishwasher and microwave, fully stocked with pans, cutlery, many kitchen appliance sand dishes, as well as condiments. Soaps included.

The dining area accommodates seating for up to 6 people.

The spacious living room is appointed with casual seating (leather sectional) for viewing the 65" Ultra HD TV and SONOs sound bar. The couch is a sofa bed. Plenty of room for the entire family.

Garage is stocked with full size washer and dryer. Detergent is included.

PATIOS

Enjoy the sunny back patio, surrounded by tropical garden that includes sitting area and hot tub.

The private back deck is set up for with two BBQs and sitting area with peeks to the Pacific Ocean. Patio seating for 6-8 with table and supplemental chairs.

ACTIVITIES

The main attraction, is of course the beach, and the house is only a half a block away. Surf, relax and play in the sand, boogie board, play beach volleyball and enjoy fabulous sunsets. Have a bonfire in the sand!

Bike ride along East Cliff Drive or hike in the Santa Cruz hills; there is something for everyone!

Felt like we were part of the neighborhood instead of just vacationers
The house had a great layout for enough privacy and gatherings. So comfortable & clean. Amazing beds. And, the neighborhood was great. We used the bikes to ride everyday - along the beach, to Verve Coffee and Capitola. Just a fantastic location and space. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time. The location was perfect for beach and food access. We split our time between the Boardwalk and the Beach. House was clean, organized and easily accessible. The only thing I would suggest is don’t sleep on the trundle bed with your toddler if you are an adult. It isn’t for tall people lol

Great little spot by the beach
The location is truly remarkable. It's less than a 2 minute walk to the beach, or to walk along Pleasure Point! The garage is fully stocked with everything you could need at the beach - bikes, boards, sand toys, towels...you name it. The downstairs is a private suite with double doors to the hot tub. The main living area is upstairs with a kitchen, bathroom and two adjoining bedrooms. This was plenty of space for four adults and two small children - the trundle bed was a plus for my kiddos. This is very functional and was great, but note that it's not a luxury spot. The kitchen is equipped but quite small - it would be difficult to prepare large meals and is a squeeze if two people are in it together. The main bathroom is also quite small, as are the upstairs bedrooms.

Perfect location
About 2 blocks from the cliffs where you can watch 100's of surfers and a 1 1/2 from a beach where you can relax, swim or stroll on the beach. We enjoyed the bikes too. The house was clean and accommodated our family of perfectly. We have 3 teens and there was more than enough space for everyone. Steve was wonderful at responding and gave us great tips for activities and where to eat. So appreciative!

Wonderful house, wonderful location
What a find! the house is great and has everything you need for a stay in Santa Cruz - including bikes, wetsuits and beach chairs. Kitchen is well equipped as well. The house is about 3 blocks from a great surfing spot - we made out way every morning to watch the surfers. 3 blocks the other direction is a good beach. Nothing bad to say about this rental. This is a two story house just off East Cliff Drive but still quiet. Only two blocks to a neighborhood market, short walk to Pleasure Point and 5 minutes to Moran beach. The primary bedroom is on the first floor and has room for a (rented) crib. The primary bathroom shower is small but clean and nicely tiled. The stairs are fairly steep and they have a child gate but we couldn't figure it out. The small bedroom with the trundle worked fine for my 3 & 4 year old grandkids but when pulled out it took up most of the room. They didn't care! The upstairs queen bedroom has access to the bathroom and the deck. The garage is loaded with bikes, sand wagon, toys, etc. The bikes definitely got used. Great stay, great location.

Great Weekend Getaway
The property was just as described and we had a very pleasant long weekend. It was a very short walk to two different beaches, we used the cruiser bikes to cruise over to the boardwalk, and enjoyed the spacious and clean living/dining area.

Wonderful and close to everything
This property was perfect for our trip. The location is close to everything, from Capitola Village to several beaches that are easily walkable from the home. The home is well equipped from the kitchen to the bikes. The beds were very comfortable and the living room offered tons of space. The owner was amazing in working with us when I booked our stay a day shorter than I meant to and we had to make a last minute extension of our trip. We will be back for sure!

Three day surf stay with our kids. Very comfortable and inviting home. Fantastic location within a short walk to Pleasure Point. Quiet neighborhood. Spotless home with outfitted kitchen, games, boards, scooters, beach bikes, etc (we used it all). Short drive to quality restaurants and market (New Leaf!!) and barber (Waves and Fades) on 41st Ave. Hope to return soon! Oh, and the breakfast burritos at Point Market are killlller!!!!

Such a gem!
Our group of friends that have been together for 20+ years gathered here for the weekend and had a blast! The location is perfect. 5 minute walk to the beach and even shorter walk to a cute general store. The house is warm and inviting and stocked like a mix of a house and a hotel. The owner was super kind and helpful with recommendations. The hot tub was perfect for the rainy day that we had. The master bedroom is giant and super comfortable! I have saved this listing to use it again in the future and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a nice relaxing time in a welcoming environment.

I've been to the Capitola/ Cruz area for years for disc golf. (Delaveaga is the mecca) but ive never stayed in this neighborhood. Steve's place is sweet, neighbors are cool and the beach is a skip away, hot tub in the back and i didnt even have to log in to any of my accts for streaming ufc. Bicycles and surf stuff available also. Sweet spot

I enjoyed my visit to Steve's property. Very clean. I wasn't able to enjoy all of the nice amenities due to health issues, but this property is perfectly set up to enjoy our California coast. “Real Comfort” in Santa Cruz
This home was very warm and inviting. It’s a 2-story with a studio downstairs where the roomy foyer is, including the master bedroom, a kitchenette, roomy bathroom, and patio with hot tub. Upstairs is a large sitting/living room with a spacious, super cushyleather sofa and several chairs, to relax with Netflix+. The dining area and main kitchen are also upstairs along with 2 bedrooms and a back porch that leads to the deck where we had our dinners. The beds were comfortable. This house has an airy, roomy, homey feel. In addition, the house’s street was a small cut-out from the main road, nice and quiet. We loved it and plan to return. Access to the beach is just down the street, or you can walk directly around the corner for a beautiful ocean watching spot with a sitting area. We did both. Very enjoyable!
