Inn on the Alameda was a lovely hotel, close to the galleries on Canyon Road and a short walk to the square. Joe’s Tequila Bar is a nice casual restaurant with great desserts just off the lobby. We took advantage of the Inn’s courtesy van on more than one occasion when we weren’t sure what parking options were available at our desired destination. But the best, most memorable aspect of the Inn was their wonderful staff. All the employees were helpful, kind, and courteous. In particular Irma was especially nice. We would stay there again.

Superior service! Everyone was friendly, genuine and helpful. Room was very comfortable. Restaurant food was delicious and being able to sit by a roaring fire during the snowstorm to eat our meal was heaven.

Great location for visitors to the galleries and old town Santa Fe. The dining at the property was very good and worthy of a trip even if you are not a guest. The tequila really hit the spot. The rooms were adequate but a little dated. Overall the porperty was clean and well maintained.

The room was very comfortable and quiet. We loved the location. It was close enough to the plaza and to Canyon Road but far enough to both to still be quiet and not crowded with tourists. Joe's Tequila Bar was amazing. Great drinks and food in the amazing courtyard. The staff was very friendly and accomadating. Would definitely stay again.

There were only stairs, not even a ramp to get to rooms, front desk, or restaurant. I dropped a small mirror in the bathroom, notified the front desk, & had to ask a second time the next day for someone to vacuum behind my cleaning up. Housekeeper did not understand English. Clean room though. Friendly staff. Transport available within a 1 mile range. Our lady forgot us one night. We waited 30 min more than the 10 it should have taken her to get there.

The pros: Great staff Shuttle to town square Nice property The cons: 10 min walk to town square and further for most restaurants. Gets old when the shuttle isn’t available. No help with luggage. Had to haul all our bags two buildings and two parking lots over. Up and down stairs, etc. our room wasn’t ready. Our luggage sat in the lobby for a few hours until our room was ready. Never had that happen. Our valuables were placed behind the front desk. Not optimal.

Walking to the downtown attractions and avoiding parking and traffic issues was a plus. The gym was a great feature for us along with the buffet breakfast. I do think they should have fat free milk and a variety of bagel selections.
