Brilliant City destination
The hotel is very stylish and traditional in terms of furnishings with quite an opulent feel. Public areas are spotless and comfortable places and there are plenty of toilets in the bars and restaurants. We found the breakfast buffet to be outstanding with something to suit all tastes. We had two of the themed buffet dinners in the evening and both were excellent. The pool area has plenty of sun beds and a very nice view of the marina/harbour. After a sticky day of of sight seeing it was lovely to enjoy sunset with a cocktail. The hotel is ideally located for the city itself just a 5 minute walk to the centre and 20 mins from the airport. We would have liked the option of a late check out due to having a late evening flight but we used the pool area and changed for the journey in the pool shower room.

Beautiful hotel walkable to Valetta. Staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. The bar area was large but cozy for cocktails, conversation or playing a game.

This is NOT a 5-star hotel, would give it 3 1/2 stars. The hotel is old a serious renovation would be desired. The front desk is not familiar with VIP benefits despite this hotel claims to be VIP property- I had to ask multiple times reception to get my welcome bottle of wine & room upgrade since I am VIP gold member. Hotel llocation is great to explore old Valeta and free hotel shuttle is very convenient. The most value of this hotel is private beach with sea access, because most properties in the area have NO sea access

I liked this hotel a lot. Its a bit old, I had single beds which I didn't order but the hotel is lovely and in a great location. I did not tell them it was my birthday and yet a cake & bottle of wine turned up which I was not expecting. They must have triggered that from my passport I guess? I will stay here again for sure

Only lost one point because check out was a little clunky and we didn’t appreciate being woken one night at 1045 (after we’d gone to bed) because staff had forgotten to ask us to sign for two beers! Mixed experience. Good- pool facilities and location by harbour, and staff service. Food and room both good. Bad- on arrival, told we would be told when room ready but no call. Had to change for pool in toilet because not allowed to use spa changing room. TV not working, had to ask twice. Breakfast coffee stewed and undrinkable.Kettle broke twice, had to ask 3 times. Charged 5 euros for losing one plastic room card. Steep 5 minutes walk up stairs and hill to town- was hard and I am quite fit!
