Treat yourself to an unforgettable wine country getaway at this four-bedroom Santa Rosa home, a stunning Sonoma County escape with a sparkling interior, a fun-filled media room, and picturesque outdoor spaces that include several decks, patios, and a private swimming pool.

This two-level contemporary craftsman is beautifully secluded in a mixed woodland landscape, with conifers, oaks, and grazing deer just outside your door. You'll be surrounded by peace, quiet, and countless wineries in the Alexander, Sonoma, and Napa Valleys - all just 10 miles north of downtown Santa Rosa, 10 miles west of historic Calistoga, and 16 miles east of Healdsburg.

Built in 1990, this elegant home features gorgeous wood and stone work, large windows and skylights, and nearly 3,500 square feet of living space professionally decorated by award-winning interior designer Susy McBride. You'll feel at ease as soon as you walk through the door - and even more so as you open a bottle of local wine at the wet bar, light the two-sided gas fireplace, and catch up with friends and family in one of the two plush living rooms.

Whether you're entertaining a crowd or flipping pancakes with your kids, the open gourmet kitchen is the heart of this home. Light the second gas fireplace each morning and get a head start on breakfast using two sinks, a four-burner gas stove, and sleek appliances that include a dishwasher. Seat your sous chefs at the granite bar counter, spread out the newspaper at the six-person kitchen table, and sit down to eat in the eight-person formal dining room.

Take advantage of the plentiful California sunshine outside on the patios and decks, where you can admire the woodland views from the comfort of built-in benches - or prep something tasty on the grill. Watch your kids splash in the Pebble Tec swimming pool (only heated by solar panels from May to October), lay out your towels in the shade beneath the pergola, and throw your bathing suits in the Whirlpool washer/dryer when you've had enough fun in the sun. There's even a hot tub for long, relaxing soaks!

Cap a day of swimming and wine-tasting with an evening gathering in the media room, where you'll find a 65-inch flatscreen with DirecTV, a Sonos Playbar, and an abundance of board games to choose from. You can also log onto the WiFi, set up your laptop to catch up on emails, or savor a bit of quiet time as you watch TV in the living room, kitchen, or kids' bedroom.

With four bedrooms (all of which are outfitted with luxurious mattresses and bedding) and two-and-a-half bathrooms, the Leslie Creek House will sleep as many as 10 guests. The master suite is full of romance, offering a king-size bed, a gas fireplace, and sliding doors that open to a deck. Arrange your wardrobe in the large walk-in closet, and retreat to the attached bathroom for long, soothing soak in the window-lined bathtub.

The second and third bedrooms have a queen-size bed apiece, while the fourth bedroom is especially charming for children. This room offers a queen-size built-in bed, a queen-size futon with a thick mattress, and a door that opens to the deck. Additional amenities at this home include ample driveway parking and a gated entrance for privacy.

Whether you're planning a getaway with fellow wine enthusiasts or looking to explore Northern California's most iconic landscapes, you'll bask in serenity and scenery at this Santa Rosa home. Enjoy woodland views from every room, take trips around the world just two miles down the road at Safari West, and drive into Calistoga for afternoons of wine, spa treatments, and soaks in natural hot springs.

You'll be astounded by the number of vineyards and wineries within a short drive of this home, whether you choose to venture through the Sonoma, Napa, Russian River, or Alexander Valleys. Begin and end the day in chic downtown Healdsburg, where you can pick up a few specialty goods at SHED and sit down for an incredible dinner at Valette or Scopa.

The beauty of this Santa Rosa home is endless - don't wait another minute to book your Sonoma County escape!

Cleanliness could have been better ( lots of cobwebs and dead flies in the tub) but we enjoyed the property.

Great house, bad property manager
House was spacious and exactly as in the pictures. Spectacular views from all around the house, and very private. Property is managed by Vacasa, and they check on my stay with automated texts, asking for issues or concerns. However, the automated generic responses were very annoying because it was the least bit helpful. Don’t understand why one would ask for ‘concerns’ if they wouldn’t care to even attempt to resolve it. We found bed bugs in a bathroom in the towels, and let Vacasa know and didn’t hear back from them. It’s an older house and we had trouble finding the thermostat and using the fireplace by the kitchen, and Vacasa responded with “thermostats are generally on the wall” -which wall on that specific property would have been helpful. Check in instructions could be a little clearer, may be add images of the keypad to use. Google navigation is not accurate and stops you a few yards before the gate. It took 40 mins to contact customer support, to get inside the door. Would have rated the house 5 starts if not for the bed bugs. Just stressed about sanitizing all my belongings to prevent bed bugs from spreading to my house.

Good location but stinky
This home was very well stocked and was a great location for visiting so many different wineries in the area. There were tons of games and the kitchen was well stocked. Negatives were that the house smelled very bad. I tried plug ins and spray but that didn’t help. Leaky windows made it very cold and the house was a bit dated. It did serve our needs though and is quite spacious.

Beautiful house no cell reception
I stayed with family in August of 2023, there were 8 of us total. The house is beautiful and there are many places to hang out together in a group or spread out and find your own space. The house was well stocked with linens and dishes in the kitchen as well as games and some toys in the game room. It was a great stay with only a couple exceptions. There was no Verizon cell service. There was also no internet although it states in the listing that there is internet/Wi-Fi. Thankfully one person in our group had ATT so her phone worked which is important in case of emergency, we had a toddler with us. She called a few times trying to get help with the internet and was told the internet was spotty but every time we tried to log on to the internet it said there was no connection. It did not ruin our trip but not having a working phone (cell service or Wi-Fi to use Wi-Fi calling) to keep in contact with our other family members was less than ideal. There is no railing off the back pool area and there was a very big drop off so outside was not very safe for small children. If you don’t have small children then it shouldn’t be a problem. If you want to unplug then the internet and cell service shouldn’t be a problem either. The house and views were beautiful and peaceful.

Lovely house, but not kid-friendly
We booked this house for a quick family getaway before school started. The listing said the property was family friendly, and specifically mentioned one of the rooms as being charming for children. The house is large, clean, and nicely furnished. However, we quickly noticed a number of safety hazards that had me very concerned. The most significant was the lack of sufficient railings on the decks and patio. The front balcony is a full story off the ground, and has only 1 horizontal slat that is at least a foot off the floor. The gap is easily large enough for a child to fall through. The back deck off the dining room has a handrail, but no slats, and drops to a stone walkway. Finally, the back patio and walkway have no railing and end at a straight drop of 5-6 feet, followed by a steep rocky hill. A fall from any of these places is potentially fatal, especially for a child. We also found rat traps on the deck and in the house, all in locations that posed a risk to little fingers and feet. Finally, the pool cover was open when we arrived and there were no instructions on how to close it, so it remained open for our entire stay. I would absolutely not recommend this house for a family with active or curious toddlers. It was stressful enough with 2 older kids and a crawling infant. When I contacted the property manager about our concerns, I received an awkward and insufficient response that I can only assume was written by AI.

Leslie House, Santa Rosa
We had a lot of difficulty with Vacasa. We found that the exterior had not been cleaned before our visit. Pool umbrellas eaten through and bats living inside. Pool deck covered with bat feces. Grill had mice nesting inside. Eventually mice came into the house and we woke up to the kitchen counter covered in mouse droppings, including cabinets and drawers - though we didn't have unopened food anywhere. Vacasa told us they wouldn't clean as we were occupying house. Left message for Tracy - who did not return my call, though she did put a rat trap on the dining table outside which trapped a large bird - but didn't kill it - so we had to killl it as it's neck was broken. Woke up to no running water at 5:30 am on third day. Called Vacasa immediately - at 11:00 I checked back. Took them over 6 hours to come out and reset pump. We had to bail water from pool to flush toilets and melt ice to brush our teeth for our first day of wine tasting. Once the exterior was cleaned by us - we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The house is nice and the setting lovely.

We loved staying at this spacious, well supplied, and just beautiful home! The hot tub was great. It is peaceful & serene. We saw several deer, 2 foxes, squirrels, cows, & lots of birds. Only suggestion for the owners is they need some pest control there. We had multiple, large spiders, especially in the master bathroom area!

Relaxing getaway
The house is beautiful, just like in the pictures. It’s located in a private setting that offers lots of tranquil seclusion. FYI cell service is spotty, but if you’re truly looking to get away from it all, that is not such a bad thing! The house is up in the hills between Napa and Sonoma so it’s the ideal location to explore both. Highly recommend.

Great location, lots of amenities, and clean! The house photographs better than the condition that it’s in. Needs some revamping. Decks are in rough shape. Grill did not work. Contacted vacasa but never got a reply. We ended up having to go buy one. House really needs a third full bath for the size and number of bedrooms. Overall a good stay just not one of the best homes we have stayed in.

Beautiful spot and house with a few hiccups
Pros: Large and beautiful house with lots of different dining and gathering spots. Kitchen is very well stocked. Plenty of linens and toiletries. Quiet and secluded spot with wildlife sightings. Large outdoor patio and covered deck. Good game room with lots of options. Cons: Heavy rodent infestation in attic space, loud enough to wake some of us. Found a mouse in a kitchen cubbard. One patio door did not have a working lock, so we could not all leave the house. One shower door was very stiff and difficult to slide open or closed. Door entry keypad could have clearer instructions on how to open it.

Perfect house for a family birthday celebration.
The house was perfect for our stay. Nice and clean and fit our group perfectly. We stayed for my sister’s 50th birthday, stayed with 6 adults and 2 kids and everyone had a blast. The kids were still able to use the pool even though it wasn’t heated. And the hot tub was great for the adults. The location was perfect for wine tasting and sightseeing in Calistoga, as well as St Helena. The only thing I would recommend are some window coverings for the master bathroom... the shower looks directly out to the deck/hot tub area. Overall we had a spectacular time, it was perfect.

Beautiful property.
We loved the remote location of this property, yet it was close to amenities. We saw a family of deer grazing in the back yard each morning. The pool was super clean and refreshing, and the house was very spacious. The kids had plenty to do. No A/C makes the 2nd level hot for sleeping at night - you just have to remember to air out the rooms and turn on the fans. Highly recommend for groups!

The house and grounds were gorgeous and the pool was a huge plus. One item on the list that I did not catch until I read another review before i left for the event, there is NO AIRCONDITIONER. The temp rea ched 111 while we were there and the house was very hot. All the rooms had fans which helped. Kitchen fully stocked with eating and cooking utensils. Beds very comfortable, adequate linen. AND DOOR DASH DELIVERS TO THAT ADDRESS!!!!! Had a great time....... would recommend.....

Great house BUT
This is an amazing vacation rental. The pool was great and the hot tub is just perfect. It’s not perfect. Our family has travelled all over the world and with the exception of a couple of places, most places are just great, never without areas of improvement. This house is huge for a group of 8. Tons of space. Immaculately clean. Lots of thoughtful touches. Our vacation here was a huge disappointment based on a couple of things-no or slow internet. The owner put a giant tv in the entertainment room and a tv in the kitchen and a couple of other rooms so you can watch only cable tv. And even then, only a couple of tvs had remotes that actually work for the cable program. We were able to watch Netflix, or any other streaming services and That was not communicated to us at all in the ad prior to us renting. No movie night for the kids and they were disappointed. You won’t be able to work should you need to. I tried to respond to work with a report but gave up. The WiFi connection was abysmal. Our six year old found a few glass shards from beer bottles strewn right in the middle of the pathway from pool to hot tub. I took pics of them and showed it to the property manager. We were told ahead from the listing there’s no aircon which in northern Ca I thought would not be a big deal. Unless it’s in the 90s and this house traps heat, especially in the top floor where my kids slept. On the first day there, I went to Costco, bed bath and beyond, and target to buy a portable air conditioner but they were sold out. The property manager while very responsive with her communication with us when we were still staying there via texting, informed me she is working on giving our group some sort of compensation for the time and effort spend on trying to work around zero internet. But the moment we checked out, crickets.

Excellent, with one small exception
This property was perfect for my girls' weekend. Lots of space, very comfortable accommodations, perfect secluded location. We loved it! The only thing that was inconvenient, was that the smoke detector battery started beeping in the late evening, and no one could come out to address it until the morning. So we had to try and sleep with that annoying chirp all night.

Great house for a group
We travelled together as 4 couples and were pleased to find a house big enough for all of us. The location was convenient, as we bounced back and forth between Napa and Sonoma valleys for wine touring and sightseeing. The kitchen was wonderful, and the large tv in the large living space near the pool was very handy for watching sports. The double sided fireplace in the main living area was wonderful, and we loved watching the deer on the property in the morning and evening. We used the hot tub a couple of times and appreciated the extra towels available for the pool and hot tub. Sitting outside watching the stars at night was lovely. The only negative of our stay was trying to keep the temperature in the house regulated. The master bedroom was quite cold without the fireplace, which we had to call to get help with as it would not light. The small gas heater in the kitchen was also not working, but once I found the right phone number for vacasa that a person answered, they quickly came out to fix it. While there werr a few problems, this was still a great house for our group.

Beautiful home, lovely views, quiet, private escape
Had a few issues immediately--no kitchen towels, no dishwasher soap, some dirty dishes in the cabinets. Called management and left a message. Didn't hear back but it turned out that was because I didn't have complete cell service--someone HAD returned my call. The landscaper showed up, however, and he was so helpful. He unlocked the laundry cabinet and found the towels and soap. So we were happy. The rooms bedcovers should be cleaner. Other than that, it was great. A gorgeous house, spacious, and comfortable.
