I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Le Rêve. This hotel is delightful. The house is beautiful with a facade of shutters and ivy which makes it look so inviting. The courtyard at the back is a charming oasis. The staff were so nice and welcoming. The area is great too, lots of nice streets to walk around and a great choice of restaurants. I was looking for a tranquil place to stay and this was perfect.

Stunning place with beautiful courtyard
This place is really, really nice. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Beautiful courtyard for breakfast. The staff speak English well and were very accommodating. We left our bags most of the day while waiting for our late-night flight. We were able to hang out in their comfortable lobby before heading to the airport. They provide coffee and snacks. Parking is nearby and easy to walk to.

As a retired B777 Captain I have traveled the world and stayed at many hotels. This has a Europe flair to it. Breakfast is good lots of places to eat and drink. They have their own bar in lobby, based on honor system. If you looking for quite place and nice staff, check this out!!

Le Reve is a lovely hotel in an old home in Santiago. There are a number of excellent restaurants on the Sam street. It is very unique and comfortable. Highly recommend this property.

To start with the positives -- the hotel is beautiful, charming (their motto, and for good reason) and staffed with kind and helpful people. The considerations -- (1) location-wise, it is inconvenient to most interesting parts of the city, so you're always in an Uber. (2) If you are unlucky enough to be put in one of the rooms on the first floor, be prepared not to sleep. The walls are very thin, and the room(s) are right by the breakfast area and courtyard. You can hear every conversation, and every fork/knife being put down. That makes sleeping very challenging.
