Feel let down
room is dated, I actually had 2 rooms the first one toilet would not stop refiling as it leaked, 2nd room was better but I d not know why it advertises rain shower head or Tempur mattress neither bed had this. So don't expect it if you stay, the upside was air-conditioning as it was very hot, but this is also a down side as so noisy. Kitchen did not have much, not even a knife to cut anything, had to ask the cleaners who got from another room, there was not enough water pressure for the shower to turn the hot water on, had to run the sink tap as well, very frustrating pressure. Also don't get caught with the TAX, the price advertised as final on here does not include 19% tax you have to pay when you get there unless you pay in CASH in US$, using a foreign credit card does not count apparently unlike some websites say. So beware of the extra. Good to have the TV channels, and excellent Wifi.

Old and smely
The A.C. Is completly old and loud also is on the living and it doesnt get to the room so forget about take a nap. The is cigarret smel at the apartamnet, completly discausting impregned smel, not even having everything open goes out. Also whater for showers is not much and everithing in generl is not propely fixed AT the room the bed is also very old and very soft there is a hole at the middle

Exception Good Service at the Provicencia
The Providencia was perfect for my stay, the staff on the 13th floor, especially Louisiana & Raphael were exceptional....They spoke English which was very helpful. I liked the location of the apartment and also the view from the terrace...I would like to stay there again on my return to Santiago...*****

good location, bad hotel
Came to Santiago for business and chose a hotel in the area. It was a bad choice indeed: dirty floors/furniture, dirty towels. The room needs urgent renovation. I was asked to pay cash in USD during the check-in "in order to avoid paying VAT". In fact it was to avoid paying the credit card transaction fee. Also, they charged me $20 in cash for an early check-in and refused to provide any receipt. I travel to Santiago a few times a year and it was definitely the worst lodging experience.

Great location & friendly concierge staff!
The check in was very pleasant and efficient even though we arrived a bit late in the day. They were very helpful in booking a tour and offering suggestions in the area. They also allowed us to store our bags after check out while we were on the tour. I would stay again. I would suggest having dish soap and paper towels or a kitchen towel available so that we can wash the dishes that we use.

Nice hotel downtown
The hotel is a bit strange. The reception is on the 13th floor but my room was on the 6th floor. It looks like the hotel is made up of refurbished apartments which, naturally being very small in general in Chile, are nevertheless large enough to be a good-sized hotel suite. I arrived about 3:00 PM on a hot summer day. The reception looked more like an office than a hotel reception. Two "receptionists" sat at small desks across each other. I sat on one of the desk's chair while the receptionist typed and clicked around on his computer. He ignored me the way standard Third World bureaucrats ignore people. You are there, they have a job, you are an imposition on their free time at work. Anyway, the room was hot and there were neither curtains nor shades on the windows and the sun plowed into it like a constant nuclear flash. I tried to hide from its reflection by leaning out on my chair so that the blast of light went through a water cooler's inverted bottle. Fortunately, the reception process was not long and there were no other guests arriving or leaving. I was also told that at the end of my stay all I had to do was make sure I locked the door behind me and just leave. I appreciated that as I had dreaded the possibility of spending more time hiding from the sun in that oversized suntan bed they had for a reception. Good for a cheap stay.
Travelled to Santiago on business and booked this as a cheap option. Located just down the road from the Sheraton Four Points hotel. There was some noise from the hallway (through the vent in the bottom of the door; football was on TV) and woke up the first morning the smell of stale cigarette smoke. Thought that it may have come in through the ensuite extraction fan system or from the kitchen vents but it appears to have come in through the front door vent. Slept well in a comfortable bed with nice pillows, no breakfast, but there is a Castanos bakery right next door for coffee, break and empanadas (pasties) or a block or so away a starbucks.

Great location
i've been to Santiago many times although this was my first to stay in Providencia. Great way to immerse with the locals. Good location can walk to just about anything and metro right outside your door. The only negative is the noise from Ave. Providencia it is very loud with buses etc until late at night. Overall the building was great the service was great and and amazing views from the roof top pool.

An "Apartment" Style Hotel
This is an apartment building that rents rooms with kitchenettes by the night. No hotel amenities. In the entrance of the building is a man behind a desk with an envelop with the password for the door lock of the apartment for the guest who has made an internet reservation. If room service is not required, this is not a bad arrangement. Good for extended stay. Everything was clean and in excellent repair. Good late night restaurants downstairs in the courtyard behind the building.

Conveniently located, some restaurants, shopping just a few minutes walking. This is an Apart Hotel, But the building is a bit older. No restaurant - no services. Just the cleaning lady. However there is a vending machine near the lobby and there are restaurants and coffee shops on the street.

Perfect place for Santiago stay
This could be the best located place we have ever stayed in. Heart of Providencia district, beautiful room with great view, full kitchen, all the help you need a phone call away (phone in room). Walk to Metro, parks, river, dining, mall - totally safe. GREAT 4 day stay!!!!

All the comforts of home
Staff was very accommodating; we had problems with shower, with light bulbs, and with understanding initially how to use the stovetop, but all issues were mostly resolved quickly. Location is superb. Easy walk to Metro. Wired for Internet. TV in bedroom as well as living room area. Furnishings are more than adequate. I would happily stay there again and/or recommend it to friends.
