Unfortunately my stay was met with disappointment. It started off with the unwelcoming receptionist at the front desk. I understand everyone has bad days but at least try to mask it. However I wasn’t going to let this ruin my experience. Boy was I wrong! My girlfriend and I proceeded to enter our room and noticed it it didn’t have a unpleasant smell. The room smelled moldy. It was as if someone had placed a bag of wet laundry and let it sit overnight. I noticed it wasn’t just my room, I had also booked three other rooms for my family and we all had the same issue. I had to switch rooms three times because all three rooms smelled exactly the same. The room I finally chose still smelled but wasn’t as prominent. It was the best of the worse. We also visited the lobby bar a couple time during our stay and noticed that morning customer service isn’t as friendly as the night shift.
On day two our toilet broke down and took 6 hours to fix. I’ve been to many Marriott’s and this was the worst experience. What saves this hotel is the location which is prime! 10/10. The hotel is literally located within the blue mall which was convenient. Unfortunately I do not recommend.
