We stayed 5 nights in early October and really enjoyed our stay! Stefano communicated well via email and a messaging app, and the property manager was friendly and provided a helpful tour. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of hot water for 3 of us (no one ever had a cold shower). The beds are on the firm side, but not as hard as our prior vacation rental, and we were able to rest when not out hiking the gorgeous mountains in the area. The property is located at the top of a hill and it is a bit of steep incline so this is not a place for someone with limited mobility. The covered parking is down the street and a short walk to the property. We enjoyed the close proximity to hiking trails and the ability to walk to everything we needed in and around town. Also note that there are a lot of stairs in the chalet, which was not an issue for us at all as we are very active. Lastly, there are some chickens and geese at the surrounding houses/barns, which we found charming. This was a great location for us and our planned activities and that view from the balcony at sunset is just breathtaking!
