We stayed at Aressana in 2 suits. Each had 2 rooms. There were 5 suits along a small but beautiful pool just shared between the 5 suites. The hotel is very clean and elegant in every way. It does not feel like a hotel at all. The rooms are at various levels. I think each had a nice sitting area outside the room. The staff was very helpful. The breakfasts had many choices and of high quality. The hotel is right next to the center of Fira and the crater cliff, but not on the cliff. This turns out to be a plus since vans can come right up to the hotel. In other cliff side locations, it seemed like people had to carry their bags down many steps. We very much enjoyed all aspects for Aressana Suites and SPA

I reserved a one bedroom suite upgrade with a courtyard view. But I only received a large room open no privacy the same as a regular room just a little bigger . I informed the property how disappointed I was I did not received what was described.

I had a few very frustrating experiences to an otherwise nice stay. There were no instructions about arrival or parking, and after two calls to the property, it was still unclear that there was no parking and we couldn’t even drive the car to the hotel front door because the street was blocked. My family and I waited in the 100 degree weather for 15 mins trying to figure out how to get us and our bags to the hotel. The person I talked to on the phone gave very unclear instructions and didn’t really get it. Then, my brother booked a very expensive massage and his therapist was on her phone with one hand while massaging him with her other hand- he finally looked and saw that what she was doing and left the massage. When he discussed with the manager, she said she told her she was just controlling the room lights- no real apology. Not great service on either account.

From the moment we walked in after pushing our luggage up the big hill we were welcomed with friendly and hospitable staff. Our room was beautiful and we absolutely loved the bottle of wine and fruit we were delivered. The drinks and cool towels were awesome touch. The staff organized our transportation and breakfast was to die for. We loved this place 5 stars.

What an amazing stay! Beautiful property, modern and clean. The staff were so attentive and helpful, especially Elena, Yanis and Sophia at the front desk, they gave great recommendations particularly during the windy days. All the staff from breakfast, spa and bar/restaurant were so great. During a particularly windy day we used the spa and it was spectacular! Thoroughly recommend the infra red sauna! The location is perfect with easy access to centre. Walkable to bus station.
