Wonderful location!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely apartment in such a beautiful medieval town. Comfortable beds and good cooking facilities. Great view of the street below. Parking is a short walk away but perfectly doable. Highly recommended! Top tip: the burgers at Rue Eat almost directly below the apartment are delicious!

In the mediaeval heart - and soul - of Sarlat
The location - right across from the Office de Tourisme - is excellent for discovering the mediaeval city and a five-minute walk to Place Pasteur if you need to meet local guides for day trips in the area. Cafés, restaurants and a small grocery store are a stone’s throw away. Be sure to check the large cupboard in the living room for a wide variety of useful kitchen utensils, etc. You’ll thoroughly enjoy your stay here. Bon voyage

A gem (or truffle) in Sarlat
Charming apartment in the heart of Sarlat. Easy to check in and very clean, the nice surprise was that the apartment is larger than we expected and it is well equipped. 😀 There is a free parking lot less than 5 minutes walk from the apartment which makes it convenient. Since it is in the heart of Sarlat, it is close to all shops and very walkable. We enjoyed our short stay and wish we had stayed just a little bit longer. Really, it is another excuse to return to this magical place!

Such a wonderful apartment!
Amazing location right in the heart of Sarlat! Parking close by (and free!) is a nice bonus. Apt is clean and has fantastic views - Host is very nice and responsive. Highly recommend!!!

Good-sized and well-equipped gîte (for two) in a lovely old building with those big beautiful French windows opening out onto a pretty street in the heart of historic Sarlat. Sarlat absolutely perfect, didn’t know you could cram that many restaurants side-by-side in a town. Beautiful medieval town dating back to the 13th century, surrounded by other pretty villages built with the same iron-rich yellow limestone, though Sarlat eclipses them all. Open farmer’s market every day, big street market twice a week.

In the middle of it all!
In the middle of it all! You could not be more centrally located. From our windows we could look down directly on the pedestrian only streets of the medieval city, with vendors, musicians and pedestrians galore! This was late August, so things undoubtedly calm down a bit in September and onward. Agnes has a great contact, with lots of information and always available. We had a wonderful experience!

The apartment is in the heart of the historic city. Everything you need is there... and many restaurants. However, there are street performers and many people out until after midnight... so if the windows are open, will be noisy. We were there in extreme heat, and had to keep windows open at night. If you like the excitement, this is the place for you. Excellent host.

A lovely weekend break
You could not be in a better position to explore the delights of Sarlat. Everywhere was in walking distance. The second floor apartment was clean and well stocked with essentials. We would certainly come back to this property if in the area again.

Perfect apartment in the centre of Sarlat
Excellent communication and very warm welcome from Agnes. This apartment is perfectly situated in the heart of Sarlat. Once you park your car you can walk everywhere in the town. Lots of restaurant choices nearby. Apartment was spotless and tastefully decorated. Bed and pull-out were comfortable. Beautiful view of the historic streets from the living room and bedroom windows. Would definitely recommend!

It was close to everything and right in the heart of the old town. Great atmosphere on the streets .

Perfect spot for a Sarlat vacation
We spent a delightful week at this spacious and welcoming apartment and were very pleased by our stay. Comfortable bed. Plenty of rooms to spread out in. A compact but nicely equipped kitchen. It is inside the architecturally significant old town, which means there can be hordes of tourists down below at times and street musicians, sometimes amplified, at night. But everything calms down by around 10 p.m. And you get to easily enjoy the splendors of the neighborhood, early and late, when no one else is around. We were not disturbed by the occasional early morning street cleaning or the vendors setting up for twice weekly markets. Free parking was a breeze, less than a 10-minute walk away (and you need a car to explore the many and varied delights of the Périgord Noir). Agnes and Alain are perfect hosts, easy to communicate with and prompt about arrival and departure. Difficult to imagine a better place to stay in Sarlat. Highly recommended.

Perfect position in a wonderful village
The apartment was in a perfect position to enjoy all that Sarlat had to offer and a central base to travel further afield. The bed was very comfortable. Overall we were very happy apart from having just one towel each for a week ( I know there was a washing machine but two towels would be better so you have one while you wash the other) and there was a lack of a comfortable seat to sit on. We had a wonderful holiday and would recommend the property to others.

Great apartment in the middle of the action! If you appreciate lively evenings of strolling and street entertainment this apartment will be fantastic. In fact, the musicians are just beneath your window, so you can’t miss it even if you decide to stay in. And it continues until 11:00pm every night! This may be good or bad, depending on your point of view.

Amazing visit to Sarlat
This property is in the heart of the medieval city with easy access to restaurants, local sites and shopping. The rooms (bedroom, living room, kitchen and bath are spacious and well appointed. Agnes was kind enough to pick me up at the train station saving me the 15 minute walk at the end of a long travel day. Note that the apartment is located on the second floor up two flights of circular stairs. There is no elevator.

The apartment in Sarlat was fantastic. Agnes was nice to meet us and show us everything. It was very easy to find. Right in the middle of the old town Sarlat. A precious gem!
This apartment in the heart of the medieval city of Sarlat is a precious gem! The apartment is truly in the center of the old city – steps to bars, restaurants, cafes, shopping and spectacular ancient architecture. On Wednesday and Saturday the old town takes on a modern “medieval” twist with vendors filling the streets with their offerings for market days. The apartment is spacious and bright with large windows in the kitchen, bedroom and living room. At first glance, the kitchen looks small, but it is very well stocked and is plenty spacious for meal preparation and cleanup. Much roomier than it appears. The bedroom is spacious, has a large closet for storage and the bed is very comfortable. The living room/dining room area is very large with two big windows. The sofa is very comfortable. The bathroom is large and the shower is very roomy. Best of all there is lots of hot water! The WIFI connection was very strong. Agnes is a spectacular host! She greeted us promptly and introduced us to apartment and the area nearby. She is a delight. Thank you Agnes and Alain for sharing your fabulous apartment with us. We hope to return soon to your apartment.
