• If you need more space to be together but apart, our adjacent two bedroom home may be available ( link: https://www.vrbo.com/4302539 )....The homes are separated by a fence (with gate).
• Things to know before you make a reservation:
• There’s no elevator buttons to press. There’s no common entrance halls to share: The home is for you and your guests only. It is located on the same site as another single family home (a soon to be rental home) but is separated from that home by fencing and there are no shared spaces.
• Our homes are thoroughly cleaned by local cleaning professionals with whom we have built long term relationships. Cleaning protocols are monitored and updated by your hosts as necessary and we regularly inspect all homes.
• We have contactless check-in and to further improve your stay we share our digital “Guest eGuide” link with you before your arrival.
• Please enter your guest count (plus dog, if approved) when making an inquiry or booking your reservation.
• Primary renters must be 25 years of age or older.
• Parties are not permitted.
• Fees and Taxes that will/may be included in your reservation cost:
• PET FEES and EXPECTATIONS:
• Certain dogs (up to two) are considered and there is a per stay pet fee, if approved. Do not select "Instant Book" unless the host has approved your dog(s). There is a maximum of two dogs per stay. The pet fee will be added to your reservation as long as you select a count for "pets" on your search/reservation/inquiry. Guests may be able to add/amend/include approved dogs on their confirmed reservation (i.e., on a reservation that did not include dog(s)) if you contact the host regarding this change/request (A pet fee adjustment will be sent to you before your arrival).
• We appreciate being able to bring our pets on trips but there are responsibilities that come with that privilege. It is the expectation that the dog will be kept on a leash when not in fenced area. It is the expectation that the dog’s owner will pick up all dog waste and dispose of the waste in an appropriate location outside of the home. It is the expectation that the dog’s owner will not allow the dog(s) to bark incessantly or often or during normal quiet hours. It is the expectation that the dog is truly a part of your vacation and will not be left alone in the home for an extended period of time. It is the expectation that if your pet causes damage to the home or its contents that the owner will immediately notify the host.
• CLEANING FEES: The cleaning fee will be allocated over the number of nights reserved. The cleaning fee covers a portion of the actual costs incurred (paid to a local service provider and laundry).
• SALES TAXES: Michigan and local law requires the host to collect a 6% sales/use tax on the base rate plus any additional fees (cleaning, dog, extra person(s) fees) if the reservation is for less than 31 nights. VRBO will withhold these taxes and remit the sales taxes to the State of Michigan.
• Things to know for before and during your stay:
• We (or the landscaper) might need to tend to landscaping/lawn but this won't be done too early or too late in the day. The automatic sprinkler system will operate in-season.
• During your stay and on checkout day: Deposit all commingled garbage and recycling (Saugatuck does not offer weekly recycling) out to the waste receptacle located near the side gate. Note: We'll come by on Sundays to collect outside trash for the weekly trash collection which occurs on Mondays.
• Checkout day: Please leave all soiled towels in the bathroom. Leave dirty linens on unmade bed.
• Checkout day: Place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and run the dishwasher before departing and if you use the propane grill please burn off (and wire-brush the grates) any remnants of your feast (a wire brush is in the grill's tank area).
• Please turn off all lights, close all windows, and adjust HVAC to stated temperature prior to checking out.
• Finally, please lock the digital entry lock when you leave.
Thank you ~ R & C
