This hotel need to be updated. It’s very old furniture in the rooms and the cleanliness was at a low. The hallways smell terrible. The only plus of this hotel was it was so close to River st. and staff was kind. I will not return to stay here.

The people working the front counter (when they were ever there) just seemed to be going through the motions and did not really care much. Once getting in the room, it was acceptably clean, and had everything I needed for the few nights I was going to be there. However, the toilet roll holder and the shower curtain rod were both just hanging off the wall. I had to rig the curtain rod so it would not fall just so I could take a shower. I did not discover it until later when I was about to shower and go to bed, but at that time, it was too late to want to switch rooms and pack all my things back up. I informed them of it in the morning, but nothing else was ever said or done about it.

I highly recommend this location staff very friendly and great customer service it was very busy but the young lady at the desk was amazing, very clean, quiet location I was there due to no power and lights I was able to do my laundry there thank you for a great visit during my difficult time your hospitality is appreciated

The hotel was stinky. There was mold in the bathroom. The towels were dirty, and all the other towels we asked for were dirty. There was weeks old dust in the bathroom’s cabinets as well. The person at the reception was rude and unfriendly. The breakfast options - limited.

The property was terribly managed. I was charged an extra $50. Holding or room cleaning fee at check-in The room was not as pictured on hotel website/expedia pictures The bathroom toilet ran all night and/or did not flush properly. Also the toilet paper holder was literally falling off the wall. I witnessed the next room occupancy was having issues with someone being booked into there room while they were already checked in with there belongings and the second booking checked in as there belongings were already in the room. So they had to go in with staff to secure and remove themselves. The noise in surrounding rooms were very loud at 4am. Woke up to other occupants drunken attempts to enter OUR room! It was all around HORRIBLE and actually really scary. Myself as a single mother with my 16 year old daughter did not feel safe. But being on a very tight budget ‘single mom’ budget I couldn’t chance the non refundable moving of my hotel. I definitely wish I could. I will NEVER book this hotel again. I am reluctant to book through Expedia as well due to the non disclosure of added fees once I checked in. (The $50 fee) Also the included breakfast was horrible. The hotel turned off most of the available drinks such as apple juice orange juice and cranberry Only very bad weak coffee and water was available. No real coffee creamer was available with breakfast. Very cheap and disappointing.

We found the staff to be very unfriendly. After checking we noticed that the elevator was passed inspection by 5 months and had an electrical smell when in use. Our room was on the second floor near the stairwell. Around 4 in the morning we kept hearing guests slam the stairwell door and run downstairs after they were very loud. Our room had paint chipping off the wall between the TV and desk. The toilet seat was old and peeling in spots. The door to the room was lopsided slightly so it took effort to lock.
