Old flour mill, restored and enabled as a rural house for holiday tourism, located in Sayalonga, in the province of Málaga, Andalusia.
The mill was built on the ruins of a medieval construction burned in 1572 by its owners during the conquest period. The result of the restoration has been this rural house whose walls convey confidence due to their resistance to the passage of time, while ensuring protection against climatic excesses. They highlight the rustic decoration that harmonizes with the environment, while showing respect for the past in the conservation of traditional elements.
The generosity of its square meters makes it ideal for hosting large groups of family and friends. The rural house is the combination of two large rural houses, each with 20 beds and can be rented in its entirety or separately.
Both rural houses have a perfectly equipped kitchen, large living rooms with fireplace, dining room with a large table so that all guests can eat at the same time and enjoy happy after-dinner meals. Of the 25 bedrooms, one has a double bed, while all the others have single beds. One of the bedrooms has a private bathroom and is fully adapted for people with reduced mobility.
All bedrooms have an electric radiator, the use of which has an extra cost.
Its privileged exterior is honored by the passage of the Sayalonga River, with the vegetation and fauna that accompany it, and that have politely offered to be your hosts during these vacation days. For your leisure moments, on the terraces you will find a basketball court, swimming pool and barbecue.
Access from the town is possible through a 1.5km lane, of which 750 meters are concreted and the rest is dirt lane.
For large group reservations, please remember that the house can only be accessed by vans with a maximum of 9 people, as it is located after a bridge that makes maneuvering difficult for a bus.
According to the owner, private parties such as birthdays or weddings can be held for the end user. Macro holiday celebrations are prohibited.
