Great Stay - Easy and Comfy
We stayed at the Pocono Gem while we were running an event at a nearby winery. Several of the guests came in from out of state and had a great time. It was clean and well taken care of. Easy check-in/out process. We will be running many more events in the future and will plan to use the Pocono Gem again to host our guests!

We went out and got home around 8pm and apparently it was too loud for the neighbors who complained. We went back to the fire pit knowing quiet time was at 10:30 and a few people stayed outside carrying a quiet conversation until 11:15. Apparently the noise at 8pm was enough for the host to send us an email the next day telling us to the leave the property immediately. (I have an email saying the noise was at 8pm, not later) The email was sent at 10:30am the next morning but I did not see until noon. Because I didn’t vacate immediately, they charged me $400. We were also told that they checked the camera and saw 4 unregistered guests. We did have 4 people show up at the winery to surprise my wife for her birthday and they came back to the house. For this, they charged $200 because of the extra utilities for 1 night which I agreed. (I have this in writing) In the email it also said a member of my group was "unable to follow the rules of my home. The rope and anything on that side of the garage is off limits. The car is off limits”. We did go on the other side of the rope for about 10 seconds looking for a broom and never touching the car which can be verified by one of 10 cameras on the property. They followed up by saying “why would you think there was a broom there? You should have emailed us and asked where the broom was.” Email them for a broom? We could just look around Lastly, they called at 4:30am EST to collect the fees. Its just not worth the risk of staying here

Clean and cozy
The house was exceptionally clean. The queen beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishware, cutlery, and other utensils for a large group. The vegetable peeler was somewhat dull. We brought our own paper napkins, paper towels, aluminum foil and ziplock bags, and scrubbing sponge, all of which were helpful. The house is well supplied with towels, shower and sink soaps, and toilet paper. The coffee pods were appreciated and fun to try. Directions on what is and is not recyclable would be helpful. We tried the hot tub which was easy to use and relaxing. There are dark towels for outside use, and make up, which was nice to find in the downstairs linen closet. The directions are on the fire tables and in the binder. We brought extra jackets for sitting out in December, so it was lovely. Entering and exiting was very easy. The house is in a great location for groceries, parks with walking trails, and church. The master bedroom and bathroom was surprisingly much, much colder than the rest of the house. The master bath has both a shower and garden tub. The downstairs common areas were comfortable and spacious for playing family games, streaming TV shows, and sharing family meals. The host was very friendly and gracious.

Lovely, spacious home - perfect for a large group.
Great location - major shopping area is just 7 min away. We had a large group, so a couple of trips for food/drinks were needed. The house is very bright and roomy and the futons in the living room and dining room were fairly comfy. Shortage of blankets though! Weather was unseasonably warm for November and we had trouble getting the heat down - it was set pretty high. Back yard is great for a night fire! Lots of artificial plant decor in the house, which detracts from its elegance. Many furnishings still have purchase hang tags, which we found odd. Dishwasher utensil basket has big holes in it and needs to be replaced. Kitchen was well-stocked for lots of big-group cooking. We enjoyed the large assortment of coffee pods. The kitchen could use 2-3 sheet pans as well as some cleaning sponge/scrubbers for dishes, but it was great to see that paper towels, dish soap and detergent were all provided. Suggest the host adds instructions about recycling, trash and heat to the house manual. All-in-all, a good spot that just needs a few minor tweaks to be GREAT.

Amazing house!!
My family and I had the best time here, it was 9 of us the house was even better in person then the pictures. Everything we needed was at the house pool table hot tub fire pit grill and outdoor oven. The farm next door was great to see also cows and chickens, goats. The owner answered all of my questions in real time I appreciate that very much. We will happily stay there again and recommend it for everyone!
